Ah... hello, everyone.

[A couple of days after the party, Poison appears on the network again. She's been mulling over what Elphame said, as well as what she had learned from Morganna about her ability to go back to her own world, and she finds that this time she's actually... feeling hopeful. Hopeful that this time it will work, she won't end up in another strange realm, and she might actually go home.

And with that in mind...
]

I have a proposition. Or--... an offer, I suppose... for anyone who doesn't want to go home but doesn't want to stay here, either... and doesn't have anywhere else to go.

[People make friends, relationships... she knows that there will be arrangements being made already, but this is important.]

I'd like to offer a place in my home world to anyone who wants it. It isn't always easy there, and technology is limited in most places, but... it isn't somewhere where you would need to struggle. I... have certain abilities there. I'm what's known as the Hierophant, and the best way I can describe it is... if you imagine the world is a book, and the Hierophant is the author.

[It's far more complicated than that.]

What I'm saying is, if you want, I can write you into my world. I can make sure you have anything you need. It could be like you've always been there. [Poison falters for a moment.] A... anyway. if that sounds good... let me know. Once we can all go home, I'll make sure I wait for you.

I don't suppose anyone will really be interested in hearing this--... [Poison doesn't say this with any bitterness. Perhaps Horus would be curious about it? But sometimes you learn something... and keeping it to yourself is just impossible.

The young woman shrugs.
]

I've worried for years that I'm not the true version of myself. That the reason I keep being moved from world to world instead of going home is that the original version of me is already home... but I was able to summon Morganna a while ago, and she was able to show me the truth.

[She doesn't trust the Fae, but when it comes to bargaining with them... she does at least trust that they will respond to a simple question with a truthful answer. Poison had been careful in her dealings with Morganna, and she's sure that she wasn't misled.

What would have been the point?
]

And I was wrong. Whatever the Technicians did to me back in that place, I'm still myself. And I know that it won't make much sense to anyone... maybe no one will even see why it's important, but I don't have many friends, and after everything I've been through I thought this was something worth... celebrating. Just a little. Even if it's only me celebrating it.

There’s a garden space behind the Alchemy Guild that I’m opening up to anyone who wants to use a plot to grow some supplies. There are six beds and it’s first come, first served so don’t just show up then get mad at me when there’s no room left.

[Poison, blunt as always, looks sort of tired as she broadcasts this from one of the upstairs rooms in the guild building. There are still a few coloured streaks on the walls from a potions mishap thanks to mischievous wisps a few weeks previously.]

JJ helped me to put it all together before he--

[Left.]

… I-I know he’d be happy to have people using it. Just… you know, don’t be a jerk to other people who are using it too. If any green mages want to come down and help out, you’re welcome to.

[A beat. She sighs.]

And if anyone knows how I can get this stuff of the walls..?

Who else here has fae in their world?

What are they like?

In mine, you would be unwise to trust them but even more unwise to try and ignore them or meddle with them. They steal babies and replace them with fae things called Changelings, and treat humans like lower life forms only there for their use or amusement. They speak in riddles and will use words to trick you. They don't think like humans or share their moral boundaries.

The ones here seem to be the same way, and I don't trust them any more than I would trust the ones back home. But angering them would be a stupid thing to do.

Recently I've been wondering if more people here have positive experiences with fae than not.

[Sure would explain a few things.]

I'd hoped to be able to do this more casually, but considering the circumstances--

[Poison's voice is tight and clipped in a way that could be mistaken for irritation, though anyone who's been able to get to know her a little - or is perceptive in that way - would be able to identify it more as anxiety.]

A-- friend and I have been working together to set up an alchemy guild building, to be open to all alchemists and potion-crafters in Avalon. Given the current situation-- situations, the door is opening early for anyone needing or wanting space to make up some potions and so on before they leave, or to hand out to anyone leaving.

[The young woman sighs and, in a moment of completely forgetting she's on camera, looks offside with her hand pushed up into the front of her hair, her lower lip held so tightly under her teeth for a second that it looks like she could bite through it.

She shakes it off, sharply clearing her throat.
]

We're stocked with supplies. Anyone's welcome.

[And here she tags the location on to the post.]

Just come in and I'll point you to the stores and a room where you can work. Just don't set anything on fire.

[Is it a text? Is it a notification on your phone? Did you even download this app?

Doesn't really matter because Tsuna's having a bad day.]

I'm stuck and the game won't let me leave.

it says I need to beat the level. Is this how it's supposed to work?

I don't want to die again...

[ooc: Tsuna's gone and got himself stuck in a video game. Which game? Up to you. Either jump in to help him out or give him advice from the other side. Or laugh at him.]

[ JJ's voice comes - well, loudly over the network. He's here, and he's excited. He's outside, if the background of trees and grass is any indication. He takes a seat on a bench, settling in and behind him is -- well, a moose. It's still pretty decently sized, even if it is small for a moose. ]

Soooo [ a hum ] - hello, Camelot! I'm JJ. And this is -- well, he doesn't have a name yet.

[ The camera flashes to three miniature eskimo dogs that he has with him. ]

And these are Charlie, Esme, and Luc. I'm working on a name for my familiar, but I figured it might be fun to ask.

So, show me pictures of your pets. Your familiars. Tell me what their names are if they have them or anything neat you want to share. It might be a little inspiration and honestly who doesn't love cute animal pics right?

[ He looks like he's about to turn off the device but then pauses - ]

Almost forgot! It's my birthday on the 15th, so in two days! So that means if you go do the hotel lobby -- there will cupcakes there. Chocolate and vanilla and maybe strawberry or something fun like that. I haven't decided on them all.

[Though her last post had been entirely anonymous, she had taken on the advice of some of the people who had responded to her. Being lonely is entirely different to being alone, and Poison hasn't been adapting well to having a very limited number of people to turn to if she just wants a friend.

But still, she's never been that good at communicating with people.

She starts the video seated in her room at the inn with a plain wall behind her. Her hair is tucked behind her ears, though she quickly shakes it free upon realising she doesn't much like how that looks.
]

Good afternoon.

[Ugh...]

I'm looking for the other alchemists here. I've had that power since I arrived, and I'd like to propose a... [Hmm.] A study group, I suppose. To share ideas, and to help each other if one of us needs it. It isn't the easiest of magics to master, and I think we could find benefits in working as a team sometimes.

[She's sure at least one person is going to scoff at this. Poison doesn't care.]

There's space in Camelot's library, but it doesn't have to be there. I'll be going there later today though, if anyone wants to join me.

This is a question more for the people here who are the only one from their world.
But I suppose anyone can answer if they want to.

Who do you go to when you're afraid?
I've been in worse places than this, but being alone anywhere is a different kind of thing.

If there's nobody you know, and no one you really think you can trust with you when you're vulnerable, who do you go to?

I'd like to know. I want to hear some thoughts that are different from mine. Maybe it will give me some perspective.

Just a heads up, it seems if you regain something from home, it may very well end up being from the future. I just got back a laptop that has more information on it than I should know. Namely songs, videos and pictures of me, my band and our rivals. I might make a CD out of some of the best ones.

[It's kind of strange, but he hasn't got that many complaints. More songs to practice and perform. Just...]

To think how much I still have to experience at home and yet I'm stuck in other worlds. Now even time being frozen there...

[He sounds kind of tired. He has wonderful friends, he has Camus here now, but he still missed home a lot. And likely always would until he finally got back home.]

What do you do when you get homesick?

[The young woman on the screen has dark hair and large, shockingly violet eyes. She focuses on the camera as if she's looking directly at the person on the other side.]

I want to know if being pulled from other world is something that's happened to anyone here before.

[No preamble, no offering of a name. Poison glances away from the camera for a moment.]

This is the fourth world I've been in since I left my own. It's been four years... I think. [While she's careful to keep the emotion out of her voice, perhaps the act of doing just that might highlight how sensitive this topic is for her. She has an idea of why she can't get home.]

I suppose-- I want to know I'm not the only one who this keeps happening to. ... Thank you.
