I've got a date set for something pretty risky some time next month, probably early on. You may not hear from me for a while. I need to take care of something I've been putting off for too long.

But that's a big IF. The success rate on this is very high! It's about time something good happened, so it will.

If When the procedure is a success, which it most likely will be, I'll be attending school here in Avalon. I've been there a lot, but not as a student. Do I need to sign up for a fresh semester, or do you think I should wait for the start of December to attend along with any new off-worlders?

I'm definitely going to survive. But I'm asking because I'm not actually certain what happens to off-worlders when we die. What happens to their corpses? Who deals with that?

I don't know about the others, but I've never been in class with someone that much older or younger than me. I only know there's a range here.

I've died before, and I just came back to the world as if I were a new arrival all over again. In the world before that, they were taken away.

I'd hate to get the authorities involved, but I suppose that also depends on the circumstances surrounding the death.

This is second-hand information, but I know of someone from another world who died here and was brought back to life no worse for the wear.

[Hijikata isn't sure just how foolproof Gokudera's plan is, but he hasn't gotten any better ideas since they last discussed the matter, so he can really only put his faith in him and those who agreed to help him now.]
