Let's see... I've never put anything on this network thing before, so. Here's hoping I do this right...
[There's a pause, accompanied by the sound of rustling while this guy tries to figure out wtf he's doing. Zel can't technology for shit ok, give him a minute.]
Okay, there. My name is Zelgadis, and I'm interested in hearing more about alchemy. Specifically, I want to learn more about how it pertains to the creation of chimeras. Nothing I've been able to read so far has been of very much help, and I'm unable to preform alchemy myself, so I was hoping that reaching out like this might yield better results. So... hm. I didn't think this through very well... That's about all I have, I think. If you're able to use alchemy, or know someone who can, please get in touch with me.
...Okay, now how do I turn this off--
[And then it abruptly ends in the least cool way possible.]

[Does it? Azul doesn't know, so time to ask questions.]

[Things maybe, but he doesn't know that it doesn't work on living materials like UHH PEOPLE, but hey.]

FMA WAS A LIE]I've known magic that can do it, and here, alchemy is a form of magic. I'm not going to rule it out until I've had a chance to confirm it for myself.

From what I've found, this world either isn't advanced enough or what you're looking for is hidden away or forbidden. Any particular reason why you're asking?
no subject
[Ah whoops, he's making himself sound like a thug, isn't he. He'll just brush that off like it's nothing and try to move on.]
I'm interested in finding a way to reverse the process, nothing more.
[He's not looking to create an army of chimeras or anything, it's totally not suspicious at all, right?]
private
Mine wasn't this advanced either, but the ones practicing alchemy in secret had a great deal of incentive to do so and the backing of the king.
Do you know how it was done in the first place? Even if this world isn't quite so advanced, there may be value in our comparing how our worlds do it.
private
Well that doesn't sound corrupt at all.
It does, actually, I just don't know if I'm good at conveying sarcasm over text.
[He's doing his best over here ok]
Unfortunately, I don't know exactly how it was done, and the only person who knew how to do it is dead. I'd been looking into different methods and trying to figure it out for myself for years before I ended up here. As inconvenient as being stuck here is, at the very least I thought it might open up some new opportunities for me.

I'm able to use alchemy here, though I've only been experimenting with iron so far. And some wood.
Can I ask why you're trying to make chimeras?
text
I'm not trying to make chimeras, I want to find a way to reverse the process.

Sounds weirder. And more dangerous. Chimeras do not generally appreciate being unmade.

...What exactly does "make use of the dead" mean in this context?

Good.
I'm so glad I asked.
You know, normally people like to bury their dead?

[ She doesn't sound... accusatory. But she also feels like that's probably the most important question to ask. ]

[It's a fair question. He had been pretty vague in his post, after all.]

Then you wish to unmake them, but to not lose the life of those who were merged in the process.
[ He thinks of it as a cruel fate, but something about how he'd said it, the use of 'living thing' suggested he also wanted to respect the life of those who had been subject to the transmutation. ]
no subject
Right. I want to find a way to safely separate the beings from each other. It's probably a long shot, but...
[but hey, might as well see what he can find out there.]
