Hello!

[Aerith is bright and cheerful, which seems to be the norm for her. She offers a wave, wearing a smile, her drake coiled around her ponytail and the pretty hair piece tucked into it.]

Not long after I arrived, I had this thought to open a flower shop. I haven't yet, but I have some flowers that are kind of taking over my apartment. I got these a bit ago, so some of them are younger than others, but they're all pretty hardy.

[Her camera pans over to a counter that's housing no shortage of pots with lily of the valley, larkspur, and primrose plants in a variety of colours.

Afterwards, she leans onto her counter and dips her head as she eyes her device, coming back into view.]

So I guess what I'm saying is that if you like flowers or you want something to spruce your home up, I'm happy to give you some of mine. If you don't know how to take care of them, I can help walk you through that, too. Or if you just want to come take a look at them, that'd be okay, too.

[After a pause, she continues.] Also, if you didn't know, larkspurs— [She points to the ones that stand tall with the colourful petals.] —are a favourite with King Arthur. Just in case you feel like getting on his good side.

[SO. Guess who's also a green eyed girl with a huge love of flowers? This girl. Who is absolutely going to gush over these beauties? THIS GIRL.]

Oh. My. GOD~! I've never seen primroses in that many colors! And that larkspur is so vibrant!

[She's so enthused that it's actually very charming. Aerith can't help wondering if that's how she comes off to others, too.]

I got all of these originally at the local market, so it's all stuff that's available here. Although when we were originally trying to get flowers for the spring equinox, I grabbed some of those flowers too, so I could grow some at home. I keep them all inside, though, so I'm a little surprised they're so vibrant myself.

Oh, I know, right? I have a ton of houseplants at home too; growing them indoors can be really tricky, especially since my home's weather can get extreme during the seasons.

[ Ovelia can't help the revere in her eyes as she glances over the flowers. What a wonderful display... It helped lighten her mood considerably, which had dipped back into its usual mire after the ball. ]

My knight and I are still staying at the hotel, and this have not the liberty with decoration, but I would still adore to see these flowers in person...

You're both welcome to come take a peek at them whenever you'd like. Even if I'm not here, it's pretty much set up to be pretty open. Might have a friend you'll take by surprise, though, so I should let her know that people can take a look when they want.

[Oh, those were pretty flowers. She definitely looked like she knew plants, but he was wondering about his own inclinations. All he had so far was that sorry little cactus he'd rescued and somehow managed to nurse back to health with help of healing magic.]

Hm...
No succulents yet, but I'm sure I can get some.

[He makes mention of roses and she pushes forward some of her primroses.] These aren't quite the same, but they're primroses. So they look a little like roses, but they don't have thorns.

I think the lily of the valley is probably the most time consuming. Or high maintenance. Primroses should be pretty easy, though. Say you water them in the morning and give them a nice misting, it should carry over through the day.

[She taps at the bottom of her chin thoughtfully.]

Aside from the succulents, were there other plants you like? I'll see about getting some and starting them for you if you'd like.

[Oh no, she was being nice. He didn't deserve this, even if taking care of the plants around his apartment was one of the few things he might even be able to call a hobby.]


I never grew anything other than the succulents at home. Maybe I occasionally took care of the office plants, but they weren't mine i did it b/c my coworkers would forget to water them

the primroses are pretty i just asked because

i have a friend who likes roses
or at least they wear a yellow rose sometimes but i know they are a lot of work
i can try something else....

[ She is not sure if Aerith ended up naming her familiar at all, but she has a bet she did not go with "Cake". ]

I've only recently started gardening. I'm actually not very good at it, but I want to have my own rose garden someday.

Practise makes perfect, right? If you have the desire to learn, then that's really the perfect way to start. Everyone has the potential to grow flowers if they just apply themselves.

[Well. Maybe not everyone, but most people.]

I'd actually love that. I'd welcome anyone who might want to be involved, really. It could be a good way of bringing many of us together.

Hey, hey. That's not really the reason I'm growing them. When I last spoke with him, he said his attendants at the castle always had a use for them and he told me if I opened a flower shop to make sure to bring some to the castle.

[But then she's grinning from ear to ear.]

Riding a horse is going to be a bonus! Maybe, anyway.

—I just like them a lot. I have respect for them. If you think about it, they're miraculous in a way. They can survive through a lot of hardship, even in places we wouldn't expect to find them. I just admire them.

Heh, greetings! Uh...I'm deeply sorry about that. I actually hadn't planned on replying, but it turns out my familiar would really like some of the flowers you have.

You also offered some tips regarding how to take care of them, right? Because to tell the truth I don't...really know much about flowers.

I'm happy to hand some out to you or your familiar. I didn't think familiars would have an interest in such things. [Maybe she should try to appeal to her drake with some flowers, too...]

Depending on what kind of plants you like, the tips will probably be different. Was there one that you liked more than the others? Your familiar, I mean. They're not going to eat it, are they?

[ Klee is slowly but surely getting a handle on this "phone" thing, so Aerith is at least spared from having a child's nose consistently pressed against the camera as she talks. that said, it doesn't mean that her network etiquette is the best; though she starts at a reasonable distance from the device, her excitement brings her a bit closer than necessary to communicate. ]

The red ones are so pretty! Can Klee have some?

These? These are the larkspur ones. The ones that King Arthur likes.

[Beyond that, she shakes her head.] I'm not charging anything for these, so if you see something you like, you can either come to my place, or I'll bring them to you.
