Hello!

[Aerith is bright and cheerful, which seems to be the norm for her. She offers a wave, wearing a smile, her drake coiled around her ponytail and the pretty hair piece tucked into it.]

Not long after I arrived, I had this thought to open a flower shop. I haven't yet, but I have some flowers that are kind of taking over my apartment. I got these a bit ago, so some of them are younger than others, but they're all pretty hardy.

[Her camera pans over to a counter that's housing no shortage of pots with lily of the valley, larkspur, and primrose plants in a variety of colours.

Afterwards, she leans onto her counter and dips her head as she eyes her device, coming back into view.]

So I guess what I'm saying is that if you like flowers or you want something to spruce your home up, I'm happy to give you some of mine. If you don't know how to take care of them, I can help walk you through that, too. Or if you just want to come take a look at them, that'd be okay, too.

[After a pause, she continues.] Also, if you didn't know, larkspurs— [She points to the ones that stand tall with the colourful petals.] —are a favourite with King Arthur. Just in case you feel like getting on his good side.

[Aerith assumes 'Klee' could be a friend or a familiar or some other situation like that and as such, doesn't really bat an eye.]

I'm not limiting them to anyone, so yes, of course. I can package one up for you and bring it, if you'd like.

[Or use a delivery service since it seems she's had some offers to help...]

[ that's probably worth some confusion, but not the way Klee sees it! things like that are endearing when you're a cute kid... usually. ]

That's okay! I can come pick it up by myself! [ as much as she appreciates the offer, she's determined to be self-sufficient. ] Can I see some of the other flowers when I come over? I bet it smells so nice where you are...

Yes, of course!

[It doesn't take her very long to forward the details of her apartment location and room number.]

If you find you like some of my other plants more, you can have one of those, too. I didn't show off all of my plants because... well. It'd be a lot to show, but as long as people are taking good care of them, I don't mind parting with them.

[ she's almost guaranteed to get lost along the way, but nods anyway and makes sure to read the address over a few times to try and commit it to memory. ]

That's really nice of you! I can't wait to see! [ and somewhat abruptly, she waves in parting. ] Bye! See you soon!

[ it takes about an hour for her to get there - mostly because she'd stopped along the way for a snack - but she eventually makes it to Aerith's apartment, her Pyro slime familiar perched on her hat as she knocks on the door. the unsupervised minor is here to pick up her goods! ]

[An hour later there's a knock and Aerith thinks little of it. She's been popular ever since she made her announcement regarding her plants. Whoever would have thought people would be so interested in something that seems so very simple?

She finds exactly one Klee on the other side and stepping aside, Aerith waves her in.]

Hello there! Did you have any trouble finding it? Do you want something to drink?

[ simple they may be, but the prospect of having a flower to call her own is very exciting to Klee! they had looked so beautiful, and she doesn't quite have the patience to grow one of her own - having a flower already in bloom (or at least on the road to it) makes the process much more interesting than just growing from a seed. ]

Hi! I'm Klee! [ she smiles brightly, adjusting the straps on her backpack as she steps in. ] Um... a little, but I figured it out. This building is really big!

[ not to mention all of the hallways look the same! but she had remembered to write down the information Aerith had told her - Albedo always said that writing things down was the best way to remember them. the only problem with that was that she seldom remembered to write them down in the first place. ]

Could I have some orange juice please? [ doing her best to remember her manners around new people, she looks up at Aerith with a smile. a drink would be nice! ]

[Klee. Is adorable. It takes only moments for Aerith to come to that immediate conclusion. But she thinks of Ken and how looks can be deceiving. Whether they're children or not, they deserve some respect and not to be immediately underestimated. Big personalities often come in smaller packages.]

It is. [Aerith nods sagely, because it's true.] I haven't gone to visit anyone else except maybe one other, but I bet if I did, I'd be getting lost too. I don't think I've been here long enough to know my way around as well as I'd like to.

[She waits until Klee shows herself in before she gently shuts her door and beckons for her to follow. It doesn't take her long to make way for the refrigerator because yes, she does happen to have orange juice. While she's fetching that and a glass, she makes conversation:]

Go ahead and sit down. Have you thought about what kind of flower you might like? Or flowers. You can have a few if you'd like. I'm certainly not lacking any.

[Which is true. Aerith's apartment is pretty bare-bones. Seems like plants have occupied most of the space. It's no wonder she didn't share all of them on the network.]

[ though what you see is generally what you get with Klee, she appreciates being taken seriously! the fact that she's a kid doesn't mean that she's not serious about things, and she'd come here with full intentions to show her ability to be a responsible plant caretaker. ]

Yeah... everything is big, not just the inn! [ she looks up at Aerith, curious and chirpy. ] How long have you been here?

[ as she takes off her backpack next to her chosen chair and gets comfortable, she hums and looks around the apartment. all of the flowers around reminded her of Flora's shop back in Mondstadt. ] I dunno... they're all so pretty! But I don't think I could take all of them. How did you even get so many flowers?

[She's right. Literally everything is big...

At Klee's question, Aerith perks up thoughtfully. How long has it been by this point? She hasn't been keeping track at all.]

Uhm. Hm. A couple of months? A few, maybe? I guess... I haven't really been paying attention. Guess I got kind of caught up in everything here.

[Pouring out a glass for Klee, she gently slides it toward her and once she replaces the orange juice, she sits opposite of her at the counter she's placed a plethora of her plants on.]

I wasn't thinking you should take them all. Just some, if you wanted. I picked up some not too long after I arrived at the market with a friend.

[She pauses. Is he a friend? Sometimes it seems like he's more... Well. No. Somnus, of all things, is a friend.]

Me too! There's so much stuff to do, and so many people here...

[ with a "thank you!" and a smile, she takes the glass with both hands and a big gulp. juice good. ]

I've never taken care of a flower before, so one is good to start. [ she nods. that makes sense! ] Which ones do you like the most?

Which ones do I like the most...

[Aerith can't help looking around her apartment to the collection of greenery she's been acquiring. It's hard to pick one is what she should probably say, but that's not really true.

There's a lily plant by the sink, white blooms that make her think of home. (All lilies do, but white ones especially. Perhaps because of the church...) She brings it down and pushes it forward toward Klee.]

These ones. [She begins with a smile as she gestures to the plant with her hand.] They're called lilies. Do you have them where you come from?
