Hello!

[Aerith is bright and cheerful, which seems to be the norm for her. She offers a wave, wearing a smile, her drake coiled around her ponytail and the pretty hair piece tucked into it.]

Not long after I arrived, I had this thought to open a flower shop. I haven't yet, but I have some flowers that are kind of taking over my apartment. I got these a bit ago, so some of them are younger than others, but they're all pretty hardy.

[Her camera pans over to a counter that's housing no shortage of pots with lily of the valley, larkspur, and primrose plants in a variety of colours.

Afterwards, she leans onto her counter and dips her head as she eyes her device, coming back into view.]

So I guess what I'm saying is that if you like flowers or you want something to spruce your home up, I'm happy to give you some of mine. If you don't know how to take care of them, I can help walk you through that, too. Or if you just want to come take a look at them, that'd be okay, too.

[After a pause, she continues.] Also, if you didn't know, larkspurs— [She points to the ones that stand tall with the colourful petals.] —are a favourite with King Arthur. Just in case you feel like getting on his good side.

[ Before turning on his camera, he can't help but...well, Cloud doesn't ever laugh laugh. But his shoulders shake as he gently huffs, amused. Larkspurs, huh. ]

Gonna be on that horse in no time.

Hey, hey. That's not really the reason I'm growing them. When I last spoke with him, he said his attendants at the castle always had a use for them and he told me if I opened a flower shop to make sure to bring some to the castle.

[But then she's grinning from ear to ear.]

Riding a horse is going to be a bonus! Maybe, anyway.

Need a hand if you're gonna be sending out flowers?

[One obvious question for another obvious question. Or maybe they're just being cheeky with one another.]

[ Younger Cloud might have quipped back with something like, "For the right price." But as a delivery boy? He's feeling a little charitable. ]

Like I'd have a choice. [ But, he wants to. He'll use this time while he still can. ] I'll help.

[Aerith laughs.]

I wasn't going to force you. I can be pushy, but I'm not that pushy. [Except she probably is, actually.]

I'll make sure not to ask too much of you, but I bet you could use something to do. [As if he's not already keeping himself busy.]

[ He huffs with amusement. ]

Things are...pretty quiet here. All things considered.

What can I say—I'm just being the hero this time. Saving you from a dull time, right?

[Teasing, of course. She's not much of a hero at all. Not to say she doesn't try in her own way.]

Sounds like you're already getting bored, though. Maybe you should get some flowers for yourself, too.

Maybe I should. I've uh- actually tried building up my green thumb.

[ Back on Prismatica especially. He'd buy new flowers few weeks for his apartment. A shame the flowers he had from the old Church weren't with him anymore... ]

[But she looks delighted at his admittance.]

Not as much here. I live out on a farm that could use some sprucing up though.

If you're out on a farm, you probably have lots of space to grow all kinds of things. If you tell me what kinds of things you want, I can put some stuff together for you.

[ Younger Cloud might have stubbornly shrugged it off or said that he can take care of himself. ...but then again, younger Cloud in another timeline would also get roped into delivering flowers like a good bodyguard apparently. ]

[Of course she can. For Cloud, she'd do most anything for him, whether she'd say that or not. That's just the kind of person she is.]
