[This ought to come as no surprise, really. Aerith spends a decent amount of her free time in the flower shop and usually if she appears on Avalon's network, it's there. That's precisely where she is on today's little impromptu Camelot interruption.

Resting on her forearm against front desk counter, she wears a smile, though it's a bit lighter than she normally gives.]

It's been a while since I said anything on here and I realised I should probably fix that. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Aerith. I run a little flower shop here in the business district of the town. I was in the middle of putting a nice little patio setup outside for people who come by, but it's getting a bit colder, so I think that's going to have to be put on hold until it warms up again.

[Taking a pause to sip from the cup of tea at her side, she sets it down before she continues.]

I know I've said this before, but if any of you have flowers or seeds from your home, for whatever reason that you would, if you bring them to me, I'll try to grow you something. I'm also really interested in trying to crossbreed some flowers, especially from anything that might be capable of surviving the colder weather. If you've already purchased flowers from me and you're having trouble with them, you can pay me a visit any time and I'll fix them up for you.

[After a moment's consideration, she sinks down a bit, shifting to settle her chin in the palm of her hand.]

And you know, with the weather getting colder, it's easy to get sick. Make sure you're taking care of yourselves. I don't normally offer this, but I have some healing magic, so if you find yourself not feeling well, I might be able to help you out there. I'm not a doctor or anything, but I like to think I know marginally what I'm doing. At worst, I can make you a nice pot of tea.

[That seems to be all she has to say because not long after, she turns off her video and audio feed.]

[Doesn't matter where Tifa is or what she's doing, her response comes almost immediately. She had promised, after all, and intends to make good on that.]

Anything. What do you need?

[Aerith doesn't take particularly long to reply and when she does, she attaches an image of a particularly potted plant.]

Do you think you could deliver this to Balthier's place for me? It's not actually for him, but for his partner. I can tell you where his place is.

[She doesn't mind in the least, but the favour does raise an eyebrow. Significantly. With a couple of questions.]

Sure? But wouldn't it make more sense for you to take it yourself?

[Realizing how that sounds, it's quickly followed by a second message.]

I mean, I just thought that you'd want to see him and all.

I know! I bet there's all kinds of people here who might have thought I got to go home or fell in a cave or something. I'm definitely still here.

[She perks right up at the mention of him ordering flowers and she settles chin in the palm of her hand.]

Is this business-related or for the You Know Who?

[She can't help the way her gaze sparkles with amusement.]

[Darin's face goes scarlet.]

I-It's...business related...!

...But she'd probably happy if I brought her some flowers too...hm...

Oh, Aerith! It's great to hear from you!

That's very kind of you to offer healing, but don't forget to take care of yourself too! Especially since it is getting colder. How are things going?

What a warm welcome. I didn't realise people would take notice of my quiet either.

[She can't help laughing a little.]

I don't get sick very often, so I'm pretty sure I'll be just fine. But if I end up under the weather, I'll make sure to take care of myself. Outside of that, I've been keeping myself busy. I moved into a new place and I've got some friends staying with me, so it really does feel like home. And of course, the shop is keeping me occupied, too.

How are you doing?

That's great to hear! Having friends and roommates can really help, especially when the weather starts turning. I moved in with a few friends recently myself, so there's never a dull moment at home.

[ For good and bad. But honestly, he can't really complain. He'd miss all the hi-jinx at home without them. ]

Other than that, I've been doing okay. I've been working on some experiments and stuff, and mostly been keeping busy.

I'm glad your shop is still going strong! Are you going to be all right though, with winter coming and all?

[After a pause, she continues.] I mean, I could. But I've got two hands and a lot of time. What are you doing?

[That's actually not serious, but he says it with the exact same expression as he would anything else. He's actually taken jobs here and there. He doesn't particularly like it, but he too also has to do something with his time.]

Do you have any plants that do well indoors, in the heat? Preferably with flowers?

[She hums thoughtfully, taking the time to assess her shop's innards. Chances are she won't have too much trouble finding what he's looking for. Maybe.]

I might have some different ones for you to choose from, but just how much heat do you mean? Are you talking like... a cactus, maybe? [Because those do have flowers. Occasionally. But he probably wants something a bit more pretty to look at.]

Do you have cacti? [Actually, he sounds very interested!] I didn't think there would be anything like that in a climate like this. I'm looking for something green to keep where I work. Which is, uh, in a forge, so a cactus would be pretty perfect.

Kind as ever, Lady- ah. Aerith. Business going well for you, I take it?

[ She also seems to be at work, the device is set while she works on arranging some flowers on her lap. ]

[Oh, good. That little catch, because Aerith had it right on her tongue to correct her.]

I can't ever claim working in the flower business is particularly hopping, but it isn't bad. I feel like I do enough to keep things afloat. And even if I'm not, anything I'm doing on the side is making up for that.

[She pauses for just a breath or two before continuing.]

How are you doing? I haven't seen you for a while. Everything going okay?

That's right. What did you think I did? Hopefully not something like being an art proprietor. I don't know anything about art.

[By the tone of her voice, and the (slight) inclination of her head, it's more meant as a sort of "ah, I have a face to put to that name" kind of comment rather than anything else. After all, they had been very much appreciated, even if she might not directly come out and say so.]

[She likes to think that she's good with faces. Names. Voices. Although she doesn't recognise any part of Fran, Aerith also knows that word gets around the network and the town itself. It wouldn't be the first time someone she didn't personally know came to her directly, especially when it involves plants.

Fran's words are puzzling, though. With lifted eyebrows, Aerith draws up a forefinger as she smiles.]

Possibly? I shouldn't really take all of the credit because even though I seem to be known for the flower thing, I happen to know that there are others here who work with flowers. Buuuuuuuut it sounds like this is probably not one of those cases of mistaken identity.

[And she goes right into business owner.]

You got flowers from my shop—Did you like them? They're doing all right?

[And even with the awkwardness with which those words come out (no doubt she expects this - she's met him after all) he does sound genuine in his sentiment.

He clears his throat softly and glances offside.]

I thought you'd enjoy knowing that the plant I got from you is thriving well. Its recipient appreciated the gift.

[She perks right up. She's only seen his face once, but she'd never forget him. But to be fair, Aerith likes to think herself pretty good with faces...]

Wow, really?? I'm super happy to hear it. I didn't think it would be too high maintenance. I'm just glad that they liked it. It can be hard to pick a plant that fits the bill, I've noticed, especially because so many of them have different meanings and are suited for different events and occasions. You'd think the variation would make it easier, but it's really not.
