[It's pretty early in the morning when Sherry sends out her message. She was still trying to really 'get' the network, but it was starting to make sense.]

[Also no one should make fun of her awesome 1998 style username.]

Hi. Good morning. I'm Sherry Birkin. I only arrived here a few days ago so I don't really know anyone yet...

Which I guess makes this a strange question but I-

[There's a pause because of a very audible yawn.]

Oh! Sorry about that. Okay. Does anyone have advice on what to do about getting rid of nightmares? I've never really had them before but they're...pretty bad right now.

If not it's okay. I'm sure I can get used to them.

Thanks though.

[There's another yawn that cuts off midway as she disconnects.]

[There have been so many people on the network complaining about sleep as of late, and Gokudera's struggling himself because it's normal for him, but it's worrying to see it brought up so much.

Despite it being early in the morning, Gokudera's accented voice sounds awake, just a little rough.]

Keep a dream journal? Then you can re-write it and figure out where the fear comes from. It's important to realize that you've got control over something like that.

Aside from that, make sure you go to sleep at a consistent time every night if you can.

[...Kind of eying her username a little.

But he'll brush it off for now as he thought about what to say.]

I heard talking it out with someone might help. Or at least just help you handle those nightmares better the next time you have them.

If you don't know anyone yet it makes my suggestion a strange one. I looked after a kid for a while, I found the best thing to do for his nightmares was to be there when he woke up. I'd tell him, Nanny would scare away any monsters that came into his room and that would usually settle him back down. Some times he would ask for a lullaby...

Those with Cognitive magic have the ability to travel into other's dreams. Perhaps someone with the ability could visit yours to see if there's a hint in there on how to stop your nightmares.

If you don't want to be scared, be scary. Learn how to fight back against whoever the nightmares are about.

I'm sorry you're suffering from nightmares, Sherry. I can try and make you a tea that may help with sleep if you like? It would be a mix of lavender, chamomile, and thyme, they are not difficult to find here.

[It's hardly any time later that Walter sends a response. Her words have him curious, and he's wide awake at this time normally, being oriented towards a nocturnal lifestyle as he is.]

Have you checked the shops for enchanted goods? The faeries might be able to help if not, though be sure to have your payment in advance.

[His voice is young. Not quite as young as hers, but still young. Even though he's an adolescent, his voice has yet to change.]

You have a familiar, yeah? See if they'd be kind enough to stay with you at night. That's kinda what I did for myself, back home... not really a familiar, but somethin' like it.
Just havin' them nearby as you fall asleep might help.

[Marnie does feel a little bad that this is the best advice she's got... but her nightmares basically vanished when she got her first Pokémon, so really, what else could she suggest?]

Sherry, sweetie...you're having nightmares?

[Claire's voice is gentle, but she's wide awake, having gotten up for an early morning run and needing to walk the pooch.

She's already heading back to the inn, intending to snag food for them on the way, but this is hard to ignore.]

Are they about the night we met?

meditate before bed
drink enough water throughout the day
drink chamomile tea before bed. don't drink green tea before bed.

certain smells help too... my uncle also used to give me oils and herbs for my pillow... lavender, jasmine, sandalwood, mugwort... all these are good smells to calm anxiety and nightmares
i struggle with night terrors a lot
all these help me
