Hi. Good morning. I'm Sherry Birkin. I only arrived here a few days ago so I don't really know anyone yet...

Which I guess makes this a strange question but I-

[There's a pause because of a very audible yawn.]

Oh! Sorry about that. Okay. Does anyone have advice on what to do about getting rid of nightmares? I've never really had them before but they're...pretty bad right now.

If not it's okay. I'm sure I can get used to them.

[There's another yawn that cuts off midway as she disconnects.]

[All this familial, physical affection is still strange to Sherry. She likes it, but it's strange. Even if it does make her feel better.]

I've been leaving the bathroom light on but it doesn't really help. I was going to try falling asleep looking at my phone but Zuko said that's probably making things worse...

[Her hands settled on the dogs head, toying with his ears absently.]

[That's fine with her. Her next suggestion is pretty simple.]

You can also just...stay in here with me? Maybe we can fight the nightmares off together. My bed's plenty big enough for two.

[Sherry hesitated. Partly she did want to do that, honestly. Being around Claire made her feel safe. But at the same time, she didn't want to be a problem, and she was twelve. She wasn't a baby anymore, and didn't want to act like one.]

[All of this was probably pretty clear on her face.]

I don't know. It would probably help, I just...

[Claire says, unprompted, but well aware of the internal struggle of not wanting to seem like a baby.]
