Hi. Good morning. I'm Sherry Birkin. I only arrived here a few days ago so I don't really know anyone yet...

Which I guess makes this a strange question but I-

[There's a pause because of a very audible yawn.]

Oh! Sorry about that. Okay. Does anyone have advice on what to do about getting rid of nightmares? I've never really had them before but they're...pretty bad right now.

If not it's okay. I'm sure I can get used to them.

[There's another yawn that cuts off midway as she disconnects.]

She's just done so much for me already.

[Sherry audibly sighs.]

No. I mean, I'll figure it out! But we didn't have phones like this back home. We only even had a cordless phone in mom's office.

[whatsamada]

[Then there was a long pause on his end.]

Sherry, what year are you and Claire-san from?

[Because he was trying to think of a solution to this problem! He sure was spoiled by being from the future and having various fancy technology.]

[Said suddenly uncertainly. Was that not the right year?!]

That makes a lot more sense now, I was wondering how you had a cordless phone when they aren't around anymore!

[And that username too.]

Or at least, they're not longer being used.

Really? What year are you from?

[Also why is that a real question life is weird.]

I’m from 2011 so a lot has changed. Even then, there are a lot of people who come from the future here.

[Pause]

But anyway, I don’t think Claire-san would mind if you talk to her. She doesn’t seem the type who gets annoyed easily.

Oh wow. I hadn't really thought people were from different times...that's so weird.

[Sherry sighs.]

I know she wouldn't. I just didn't want to bother her.

[whatsamada]

I doubt it. If she's anything like the person who she reminds me of, he wouldn't ever be bothered at all.

And if you did, she would definitely tell you that.

[Sherry giggled.]

She really would. She doesn't take anything she doesn't want to.

Exactly so you still need to talk to her if it's bothering you that much.

[Pause] Or you can talk to me if you want.

I...don't think you'd want to hear about what I'm seeing.

It's pretty scary.

I doubt you'll scare me, I've seen a lot of terrible things before. Zombies wouldn't scare me.

[Said the boy who had to shoot himself in order to summon a magical fighting ghost]

There...were worse things than zombies.

[He had to raise an eyebrow at that]

What do you mean? What other things are worse than zombies in your world?

I mean, I don't know what they're called.

There were these awful things that looked like people but they had been...uhm. They didn't have any skin. And their hands were replaced with claws and they stabbed people with their tongues. And worse stuff than that too.

[whatsamada]

[It was a good thing Ken was use to fighting shadows or else, he would be surprised by all of this. Even now, he was shocked to hear that!]

Are they still zombies? Maybe they're a more advanced kind if they're still eating people? It's just really creepy to hear that.

[littlemissgvirus]

I don't know. They showed up at the same time. But I didn't see anyone turn into one or anything.

[God that would've been horrible.]

I never really saw one eat anyone either. ...Just kill them.

[whatsamada]

It makes me wonder what else is going on back in your world if there are other creatures outside of zombies.

[Pause]

Sorry you have to deal with that. It’s really not easy having to fight when you don’t know what’s going to happen.

I don't really know. I mean, my parents were involved with it but they never talked about work at home and

[She trails off.]

I didn't fight them. I just hid. Claire and Leon fought most of them.

[whatsamada]

Even if you didn’t fight, you still had to deal with them. I like to think that counts.

[Although, he had to raise an eyebrow or two at her. Hm....]

Sorry, Sherry, mind if I ask how your parents were involved?

I'm not really sure. I think Daddy, he...created the thing that turned him into-

[She cuts off.]

That creature you mentioned before?

[He said after a long pause. If so, he couldn’t help but feel for her. How terrible was it to know her father was part of an experiment and only for him to turn into one himself?]

I’m still sorry though, it can’t be easy knowing your father was a part of this and then ended up being a creature he help created.
