[it's the middle of the night when an image is posted to the network from someone who has chosen to be anonymous]

so how would you choose to be spooky?

[in a world where halloween doesn't exist but ghosts do, you can talk about hauntings whenever you want! nobody can stop you or judge you!]

What's the one thing you would change about your life to make it better?

( he could say that this is anonymous to avoid people feeling weird telling their answers to a therapist, but really it's simply to avoid Kurusu-kun worrying about the meaning of all of this.

it's fine. he's fine. this is simply academic curiosity.

It's funny to me how we have pumpkins running rampant and other sort of spooky stuff when this place has never heard of Halloween. Though sure, pumpkins are a part of autumn anyway.

That being said, advice to anyone who might need it: don't go trick or treating unless you want to get arrested by knights. This isn't America, going to knock people's doors asking for candy and threatening them with a prank isn't going to go well.

[It's a simple text message, with a photograph attached.

The photo in question, under the cut )

A black cat (specifically a spirit cat but details) doing that bread loaf thing they do, even if the angle might not make that the most obvious at a glance. And yes, that is in fact a finger in the corner of the photo, probably not intentionally.

The text itself is a simple message, though.]

Am I doing this correctly?

Hi there.

[ With that short greeting out of the way, Akira changes the angle—his phone camera is pointed at a row of vending machines. ]

If you're in Lestari, check this place out. You can get canned bread here.

[ He's not kidding; the next thing that everyone will see on screen is a can of bread. ]

And that was just the first vending machine.

[ Is he going to check out all of them? Absolutely. ]
