If I may pose a hypothetical question.
For a being that has existed many a millenia, what would be information most pertinent to their enjoyment of a... modernized life?
[ Yeah this absolutely has nothing to do with him. He's not 6,000 years old and still doesn't understand how to use the microwave in his inn room, nope. ]

First I would ask what non-modern activities do you partake in that would need a modern solution?

I guess it would be how to manage funds? You can't get anywhere these days without that kind of know-how.

I don't think you have to know everything about technology to enjoy a modernised life, but you should get an air fryer. It'll make your life so easy.

[ For Corwin, it was the latter, for the past few centuries, anyway. ]
It would be helpful to know where our starting line is, so to speak.

I think understanding how to fit in with society would be the most important aspect. Assuming you want to be part of it.

I'd suggest getting to know the 'trends' of whatever is happening now or getting accustomed to any technology that you've never seen before.

That's pretty amazing! Like a god, right? Well, I guess gods do live among people at times. The God of Light back home does periodically comes down to visit.
But...I guess learning how modern appliances and things work? Do gods need to eat though? Oh! Maybe watching movies and stuff too...learning about current culture would be something a god would be interested, I think?!
I guess it really depends on what they're interested in and stuff like that, right?

[Honestly, this situation isn't unknown to Kadoc, and he might even have believed that this question was not about the poster in question, even if it weren't hypothetical per se . . .
But there's that username. Kinda says it all. Kadoc isn't a guy who smiles a whole ton, but there's a little smile in his voice when he responds to the post, barely there.]
But sure. That's a broad question. There's a wide range of things that could be "enjoyment." I'd talk about things like music and movies, but maybe it's better to start with the enjoyment of knowing how modern plumbing works. That kinda thing.
