If I may pose a hypothetical question.
For a being that has existed many a millenia, what would be information most pertinent to their enjoyment of a... modernized life?
[ Yeah this absolutely has nothing to do with him. He's not 6,000 years old and still doesn't understand how to use the microwave in his inn room, nope. ]

[ He wasn't subtle, like, at all. ]
I've existed since my conception. Or, to be more precise, the conception of all around me. The only thing that has come to change is my title and on occasion, my form.

[Though for once in his life, his self-consciousness about it is at a minimum. It's too amusing to be deeply embarrassed about, and this godly being he's audio chatting with here hasn't talked down to him or laughed at him yet. That helps.]

But you have explained something quite fascinating to me, which I truly appreciate. I've only just decided to live as a mortal, and so I've yet to fully understand what grand things mortals have created. Even someone as old as me has not stopped learning.

[But despite himself, he's smiling too; he's just like this, unable to resist the opportunity to take a jab at himself.]
How were you living before? I guess that explains how you've been alive all this time but you're only just now asking. I'd wondered.

[ It just gets awkward when he has to discuss things like history and such, like wow Zhongli, how do you know about all these things that are years, centuries old?? ]
I would say I lived as an observer. My status did not allow me the opportunity to be amongst mortals. Only recently has that changed.
[ Just going to... not say anything in regards to being a God, one who faked his own death. ]
Of course, I am still immortal, thus I've no need of human necessities such as sleep or food. However this does not mean I cannot appreciate human indulgences. I quite enjoy tea.

[Heroic Spirits are lucky enough to get some downloaded-in knowledge about the modern world with their summoning, though, so to speak. No needing to explain showers to them. So whatever this guy is, he's not that . . . his "status" sure makes him sound like he was something higher level, though. Someone important.]
But tea's one of those ancient things that never seems to go away in any era. People got it right the first time for once, I guess.
