right now i usually just put her in a blanket but she doesnt like it very much ha...

Well the best thing right now would be a winter coat and boots, which you can get at some of the stores here. They won't keep you 100% dry, but even if the coat gets a little wet you should still be warm enough.

As for Sofia...I don't think her being out in the snow is a good idea. This kind of weather isn't good for reptiles.

[ At least that's her assumption. She doesn't know what weather was like in Lestari, or how the dinosaur owners would take care of their pets in the winters. But just...poor Sofia. ]

[ Della was, initially, completely oblivious to the DEVASTATING HEARTBREAK she gave to Alberto in October. But as weeks went on, he seemed to be a bit... distant with her? She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but it was like something changed between them. What could have happened???

And boy, this whole thing raises questions too...? Sure, she knows he's allergic to hose water (for. some reason.) but to be so reluctant against touching snow???]

[ Oh, it's Della...! He assumes, from the username. He's conflicted. He's happy to hear from her, puts a smile on his face right away, but indeed— he's glad it's text, because that smile falters, and it takes him a second to find words to respond, staring at his phone feeling extra alone-r suddenly. Extra in trouble here with this problem he's posting about. He has absolutely no intention of ever being honest with her now, knowing her position on "disgusting sea creatures, bleck!" — but he has trouble lying his way out of this one...

What makes him even sadder is that what she describes sounds so fun, it really does! It sounds like something he'd love. Maybe he can sneak away with Asriel or Chara one night to play in the snow somewhere discreet, once he finds some better clothes... friends he trusts have no problem with his true self, because, well, they're monsters too (or at least raised by monsters).

But Della's shown him such cool things and he's always had so much fun with her every time he's run into her — glad to know a not-human... But a not-human does not necessarily mean "accepting of sea monsters." He'd love to play in the snow with her, but, well... at least he can bluff and put her advice to good use in secret. And protect himself with his usual lies. It's a defense that's seldom failed him. Except all the times it has, that is. ]

He has no stable source of income and what gold he does make doing odd quests, he spends on food and leaves no savings for anything else. It burns a hole through his pocket immediately. And since all his clothes were either found, donated, or stolen selected from thrift stores when he first got here... they probably have a fair amount of holes in them as it is... I mean, she looks like a lizard! They usually live in warm places because they can't make their own heat. You know how you wrap up in that blanket and you're warm after a while? That's your own heat getting trapped with you. Lizards can't do that. They just lose heat until either something else warms them up (like the sun!) or they die.

If it's cold enough to freeze water, then it's definitely cold enough to make a lizard popsicle~

Why can’t you just go and buy cold weather waders? They have the boots built into them, and you can put on a heavy coat with a hood. It should keep you safe from getting wet or too cold.
