[The video opens up to a familiar face to some, probably unfamiliar face to most. Ochako here hasn't much used the network herself - mostly just checks it and responds to friends and things that ping her interest, mostly. But today? Today is special.
Because today is the day she need a bit of...advice? Help?? Guidance???
Something. She sure fucking needs something right now, holy shi--]
Um...h-hello, everyone. My name is Uraraka Ochako - but, eheh...pl-please call me Ochako-chan, or Uraraka-san if you want to be formal. [She clears her throat, looking off camera very, very frequently, at something just out of the camera's viewfinder.] So, I...h-have a question? I guess?
Um!! I-I know you can kind of get famous and stuff here - kind of like a celebrity I guess? Or, uh...y'know.
Status [She coughs into her fist, glancing offscreen then back.] Titles.
[There's a long, long, LONG pause, before she plucks the letter she got in her Inn room's mailbox and reads it over again, silently, one of the pages on the back of it very clearly addressed to Lady Uraraka.]
I have a house.
...Castle.
Castle-house.
And...land. So very much land. Ehehehe...hehe...hee.
[Her giggle afterwards is slightly manic, and there's a delicate sheen of sweat now on her brow, and a pleading look to the camera that very obviously is a cry of:
I AM SIXTEEN YEARS OLD, WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO???]

I've never had those kinds of things before!
I never, EVER, expected to have that kind of lifestyle...even as an adult.
I don't even know where to start - do I just put out an ad asking for help?

Castles are huuuuuuge, but luckily there's an easy solution: get lots of company to live with you in your new housing if you're planning to move in there.
no subject
[She says that, and she does mean it, but good lord, Ochako is just a bit...overwhelmed. This sure is a step up from what she's used to in a massive way, poor girl that she is.]
Y-Yeah, um...the floor plan they sent with the letter is pretty big, and they said it's a small castle. Ehehe, I mean, I...could? B-But I don't know if any of my friends would be willing to move in with me. I-I know a few of them have already settled into places of their own, so...
[As much as Ochako would adore everyone being together again, like in the dorms at UA.]

[SHE'S A CHILD?? Ochako has literally zero experience with this sort of thing - being a homeowner, let alone managing a property of this magnitude. The status, title, and everything that comes with it...it's literally too much for her to handle, with zero experience. Ochako was basically poverty-level before coming to Avalon.]

[ But she can understand, the manor she grew up in wasn't nearly as large as a castle but growing up learning to care for it and eventually her ailing father at the same time had been a trial. ]
Have you considered finding and employing a groundskeeper?
no subject
I'm not used to, or really cut out for, this style of living.
Yeah, most people are saying the same thing - hire people to manage it and stuff.
But again I don't really know where to begin even with that.
Do I put out an ad? I have no idea...

[He was grinning, looking quite amused despite his overall, thuggish appearance. But then a more thoughtful look came over him. A pause.]
...First, you'll want to move in and hire on a servant or two. You'll be able to afford it. Second, take a survey of what you have around you. What the land provides, who is living on it, what taxes are like, and who your neighbors are. Third, build yourself a council. Think meritocratically about who you should hire; look at the king's court to get an idea of how to proceed and do not be afraid to approach him for aid if you require it.
Your liege profits from you profiting. And you profit from others profiting.
no subject
Ah, th-thank you so much!! For everything! That's some really, really good advice, sir... [If it's about profiting, then Ochako is no lie the best of the best to manage that sort of thing. Her financial skills are pretty stellar. If she wasn't training to be a Hero, she could easily become a top-tier accountant.] I guess the first step really is just settling in first, but I'll definitely think of everything else after that.
People are making this more like taking care of others, and I'm good at that - it's what I based my schooling around back home, kind of - so this...might not be as difficult as I thought, if I look at it like that. But I can't deny I'll need a lot of help.

Ehehe, not yet!! But I will be, once I move in. And of course you're invited when I'm all set up and ready to host. Now that I have a proper kitchen and pantry to use, a-and a...h-huge dining area... [AHEM.] I'd love to have people over any time I'm not super busy.
Actually, a housewarming party might be fun...

[He's kind of getting the idea that the answer is yes, but. He just wants to make sure before continuing.]

[More along the line of the only time, too. Ochako's not used to being handed things like this - money, status, prestige - she's a "do it to it" sort of person. Things should be earned, not just handed out. People work hard to get the things they desire - it may be hard, but it's worth it in the end.]

However, he's not very good at pronouncing that strange R sound her name has, given he hasn't had the impetus to practice, so he'll opt for the name without it.]
Miss Ochako... or would that be Lady Ochako now?
[That's a choice between Ochako-jou and Ochako-sama. There are no -chans and -sans here.]
You seem a little... distressed. I take it you were not expecting to be conferred a title?
no subject
Mmh, I really wasn't expecting anything like this, no. I'm not used to this style of living. Um...lavish stuff. I never grew up with it, and I never expected to come into it, um...at all. N-Not until I was a lot older, and worked up to it.
[Being poor sort of instill that "go-getter" mentality of doing things for yourself, and working hard to earn what you need and want. Life isn't fair, nor is it free. And it sure as shit isn't easy, either. Hard work is called that for a reason - it's hard. But Ochako's used to it, accepts it, and the challenge is one she always strives to meet head on. Being handed things on a silver platter like this - rather literally in this case - skews her worldview and tips her off balance. It's partially why she's so flustered now.]

It's definitely nice to have my own open kitchen and bath, definitely, but it's a huge responsibility. Heh...I'm a little nervous about it. But if people come over to help with stuff, I think it'd be nice?

[Because this is the first thing that springs to Claire's mind. No glib remarks, just the understanding that the poor girl has suddenly been dropped into a thing she was not prepared for.
And guess who knows a thing about that?]
no subject
Lots of people have offered to help though, and are giving some very good advice! I mean, I just wish I had a little more warning? I-I mean...eh. It's so much to think about, and even if it is something I want to do - because it'll help so many people - I guess it's still a really big responsibility. Not that I'm not used to that, but...mmh...
I guess in a different way.
[On the front lines. This sort of "helping people" is more political. Ochako was taught heroics at UA, not politics.]

Uraraka-san! You've gained a title too?! This is ... amazing!!
[Izuku might have been in mid-meal when he sees this post because he has a little bit of rice stuck to his cheek but he couldn't help replying as soon as he could.]
A castle... I never thought something like this would be... real? Congratulations! There's so much space what are you going to do with it first?
no subject
[It'd make sense - Izuku is so noble and forthright, he always does things for people and is smart... He'd make a pretty good Lord, she thinks. Hell, he'd make a better noble than she would, any fucking day of the week, actually. Ochako's not cut out for this, it feels so foreign. A true Cinderella tale or something.]
Um, i-it's supposedly a small castle, but...mmh, just the floorplan alone is crazy. It feels like having the dorms all to myself and them some. I'm not really sure how to feel about it, but...having an actual, working kitchen for a change, and really large pantry, will be really nice. And a big bath.
I was actually thinking of having a bit of a party after I get settled in, maybe? Of course you and Bakugou-kun are invited.

Heeeh...th-thanks, Todoroki-kun. Though I doubt I'll ever act like royalty, or nobility, or...whatever. Even with all the help, and advisors, and stuff people are suggesting I get to manage the estate. I bet this is something you're more used to, huh?
