[The video opens up to a familiar face to some, probably unfamiliar face to most. Ochako here hasn't much used the network herself - mostly just checks it and responds to friends and things that ping her interest, mostly. But today? Today is special.

Because today is the day she need a bit of...advice? Help?? Guidance???

Something. She sure fucking needs something right now, holy shi--]

Um...h-hello, everyone. My name is Uraraka Ochako - but, eheh...pl-please call me Ochako-chan, or Uraraka-san if you want to be formal. [She clears her throat, looking off camera very, very frequently, at something just out of the camera's viewfinder.] So, I...h-have a question? I guess?

Um!! I-I know you can kind of get famous and stuff here - kind of like a celebrity I guess? Or, uh...y'know.

Status [She coughs into her fist, glancing offscreen then back.] Titles.

[There's a long, long, LONG pause, before she plucks the letter she got in her Inn room's mailbox and reads it over again, silently, one of the pages on the back of it very clearly addressed to Lady Uraraka.]

I have a house.

...Castle.

Castle-house.

And...land. So very much land. Ehehehe...hehe...hee.

[Her giggle afterwards is slightly manic, and there's a delicate sheen of sweat now on her brow, and a pleading look to the camera that very obviously is a cry of:

I AM SIXTEEN YEARS OLD, WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO???]

Good afternoon, everyone. For those of you that I haven't already met, my name is Mitsuru Kirijo.

[ Mitsuru offers a slight bow to the camera. ]

I’ll be brief: in light of recent events, I think that it’s been made clear that more extensive preparations are necessary to prevent another tragedy like the devastation of Celliwig and Lestari. I’m far from the first person to make this observation, or to suggest that more frequent practice or better coordination would benefit us during a similar situation. What I would like to propose is a sort of informal organization to help provide the structure necessary to facilitate that. A guild of sorts, if you will.

The basic premise is to provide a framework for people to train together, assist each other with improving their magic, and find individuals to undertake quests with. This would be accomplished by the group meeting three times weekly at a sanctioned training area for a communal training session, and by the establishment of a group chat to allow members to arrange additional training sessions and find questing partners. Participation would be open to anyone interested, with the understanding that they are required to participate in at least one of these weekly training sessions.

I believe the potential benefits are fairly straightforward. Individuals looking to improve their magical abilities would have a structured environment in which to do so, and access to training partners that might offer useful insight or friendly competition to help spur further growth. Training and questing together will help familiarize us with each other’s capabilities and fighting styles, allowing us to coordinate more smoothly in the … inevitability of another crisis like the one we’ve just faced.

With the explanation out of the way, I suppose what’s left is an interest check of sorts. I’d like to know who would be interested in joining such a group, and any questions or suggestions that you all might have as to how it should be organized.

In any case, I thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

[It has been a bit since Claire had the spoons to address the network, but she knows when she's in a bad place, and knows that talking is something that helps her cope...so she opens the feed to make some sort of broadcast.

It sits open for a moment, the only sound the shifting of clawed feet on wood and Claire's breath. She hesitates, unsure of what she wants to say, until her familiar's deep baritone voice rumbles out.]

Ask the question, Claire.

[She sighs, and finally spits out what she'd come up with.]

So. I lost someone important to me. Pretty much the person that was motivating me to give a shit about...basically everything. I don't want to talk much about that, because that won't bring her back, but to those that knew her, I know she'll think fondly of you.

What I do want to talk about is finding that motivation. What has you getting up in the morning, this far from home? Why do you get out and do stuff? I wanna know what helps other people focus beyond just survival instinct.

[Claire pauses, starting to say something but cutting herself off before the words turn into a simple apology. Re-centering herself with an audible breath, she goes on.]

I know, I know, philosophical questions are weird and probably out of place on this network thing, but humor me, okay?
