Good afternoon, everyone. For those of you that I haven't already met, my name is Mitsuru Kirijo.
[ Mitsuru offers a slight bow to the camera. ]
I’ll be brief: in light of recent events, I think that it’s been made clear that more extensive preparations are necessary to prevent another tragedy like the devastation of Celliwig and Lestari. I’m far from the first person to make this observation, or to suggest that more frequent practice or better coordination would benefit us during a similar situation. What I would like to propose is a sort of informal organization to help provide the structure necessary to facilitate that. A guild of sorts, if you will.
The basic premise is to provide a framework for people to train together, assist each other with improving their magic, and find individuals to undertake quests with. This would be accomplished by the group meeting three times weekly at a sanctioned training area for a communal training session, and by the establishment of a group chat to allow members to arrange additional training sessions and find questing partners. Participation would be open to anyone interested, with the understanding that they are required to participate in at least one of these weekly training sessions.
I believe the potential benefits are fairly straightforward. Individuals looking to improve their magical abilities would have a structured environment in which to do so, and access to training partners that might offer useful insight or friendly competition to help spur further growth. Training and questing together will help familiarize us with each other’s capabilities and fighting styles, allowing us to coordinate more smoothly in the … inevitability of another crisis like the one we’ve just faced.
With the explanation out of the way, I suppose what’s left is an interest check of sorts. I’d like to know who would be interested in joining such a group, and any questions or suggestions that you all might have as to how it should be organized.
In any case, I thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you.

You know that I'll join no matter what, Mitsuru-san. All you need to do is ask. And especially when I'm curious to see how we would all work together as a group.

[ She'd expected him to be an eager participant, but it was still nice to have that confirmed. ]
I'm curious as well, but I'm confident we'll develop the ability to coordinate given enough time.

Regardless, I'm glad that you're interested. I'll be trying to make the arrangements for an initial meeting during the coming week.

Kirijo-san, I'd be interested in joining what you have planned. If I can help out, I'd be more than willing to do that.
I think it's important for those involved to be ready for anything that might happen again. If we practice as a group and learn what everyone can do, maybe even create some sort of database to categorize that, it would be helpful too. That way we can dispatch people with the right skills quickly.

I'd welcome your help, Midoriya-san. The idea of a formal database is an interesting one -- one that I hadn't considered, either.

If you so need, I can provide myself as a training instructor in swordsmanship.
[ Which can only end well, right?
RIGHT?? ]

No, of course not. But she still has, and that's the very reason she's replying now. ]
I'd be willing to join something like that. I don't have as much experience with the magic here yet as others might have, but I'm used to using magic back home, so I could help people learn. It'd be nice to have a place where new people could get some help in learning. [ Aside from just having their familiar help them, that is. It's what Minako missed a little when she first showed up here. ]
Re: voice;
I agree completely, and that is, in part, what I hope this will provide.

Training together means that we will function better together to deal with this shit.

My thoughts exactly. Would I be correct in assuming, then, that you'd be interested in joining?

Another thing I'd like to suggest, if it's possible... I think it'd be a good idea to propose a charity fundraiser to help the people of Lestari and Celliwig get on their feet a little better while in Camelot. Or even just helping them get fresh foods with people who have green magic.
[Ochako sighs a bit, shaking her head.] I know a lot of people are suffering for what happened - mostly the refugees - but we can try to make everyone's lives a little easier until they can have home for themselves again. It's the least we can do now for failing them before...

[ She smiles - a little bigger and a little warmer than her usual, business-like demeanor normally permits. Her smile loses a little bit of its brightness as Ochako continues, but she nods her agreement without a moment's hesitation. ]
I think that's a noble endeavor, Uraraka-chan, and one that I'd be happy to be a part of in whatever form it takes.

This sounds like exactly the sort of foundation we could use, Mitsuru. Not just to improve our skills and teamwork on an individual level, but to see what resources we'll need to back those efforts. For example, there was Gandra's database proposal...
[She cups a hand under her chin.] More than that, it might be a first step towards organizing other community efforts. I can't assume everyone interested in this would want to be tasked on patrol routes, but there's likely some overlap.

[ Their first meeting would offer them an opportunity to test those waters further. As to her other suggestion ... ]
Midoriya-kun and I had discussed the possbility of a database as well - something to track the magical affinities, experience-level, and progress of our membership.
