[It's her first attempt using this thing publicly? Sort of? She somehow manages. Though what results might be debatable in her success given most of what is seen is a mass of dogs.....a lot of dogs..so many ears and tails and tongues...enough that they are all but covering her accommodations. Those who pay attention may or may not notice the slight Colette-shaped hole indented in the wall from earlier when she tripped. It's fine, she's fine! Really! Though. She has decidedly gone from loving suddenly having so many dogs to realizing rather quickly that this is......not the ideal....

How is she supposed to give them all that love and attention and cuddles and pets and play with them all when there's so many?! How does she come up with this many names?! Colette panics, and. Well. She was told this thing, this....phone? lets her talk to everyone at once. Maybe someone else might like a dog? A pet? This was too many! As sad as that is to admit. For Colette who Adores dogs and all.]

Ah, I hope this is working? I haven't used this sort of thing before. Assuming this is working, I'm Colette! I only recently got here and all. I just -- everything I touch is turning into puppies and now there's too many dogs! And I never thought there was such a thing as too many dogs! But I can't take care of this many! Please?

[Colette has had some practice in trying to figure the phone and how to use it by now at least, after being here for a bit. So she does manage to switch to text. It's probably a lot less noisy and chaotic that way too.]

I'm not sure if this is a new power exactly? I figured like. Making a little light before but this is different. I haven't exactly counted them all yet to be sure on the exact number yet either. But if you could help in taking some that would be great? While I figure out what is happening that things I touch seem to become puppies?

I'll do my best to keep them under control,
but I'm not really an expert at puppy-sitting.
At least, not with actual puppies.

[ Could looking after Cloud in her world really qualify as puppy-sitting...? She guesses he's really more of a cat. ]

Maybe avoid touching any more things until then.
Does wearing mittens help?

But ah, I hadn't thought of gloves. I don't actually wear any though. But I can probably find some? I'm not sure if I picked some up if they might also turn into more puppies though....

Stacking? Like with plates? But they aren't plates? They'd probably just jump down or something and I wouldn't want to squash the ones at the bottom!

Well, you would put the sturdier ones at the bottom. Then you could lash them together, and maybe stand them side-by-side so that you have a wall of dogs.

Alternatively, you could stop doing whatever it is that's turning everything into dogs.

And I'm not sure how to stop touching anything either.

[Just. Stand there in the middle of the room trying not to move or touch anything? Maybe? Colette isn't sure how long that might be feasible to last.]

I keep turning everything into boomerangs, so I can't even pet any of those dogs without potentially creating a boomerang problem.

Usually, Ochako would be the same thought process as Colette at first - this is heaven - but seeing all that mass of fur and slobbering tongues, she barking and growling as the pack gets larger and larger...yeah. No thanks. She'll stick with her dire wolf familar as the only canine she'll ever need or have the ability to 'care for'. Poor Colette...h-hopefully her room at the inn hasn't been completely ransacked by those dogs. Ochako would hate for this nice girl to have to pay for damages, and, erm--

Cleaning.

She clears her throat, scratching her cheek as she tries to ponder how to fix this. I mean, there's always the easy route--]

M...Maybe there's a shelter that could take some of them? Or, um...perhaps one of the farmsteads might want a dog? [She is just kinda spitballing here.]

[She barely got here to get to know much on figuring what was available around here, in getting to know the locals and all yet to be sure on that sort of thing. But it might be an option at least. Something to consider. As a way of giving some of the dogs to them at least? Maybe? Colette hopes so anyway, as she feels one of the puppies climbing up at her leg and another seeming to chew at her boots.]

Eh, w-well, perhaps not just one farm or shelter, but um...m-maybe several.

[There's no way either would take on that many dogs at once. Maybe a shelter wuld, but it'd hit maximum capacity pretty quick. Though...that may be the best bet to try and find homes, or at least other places that would at least house the dogs temporarily.]

The phone seems to be alright. Though I did figure um. Voice? So I'm not sure. I am practicing with it but I didn't want to touch it with all this going on at the moment at least.

[At least she has that option. Back home, after a certain point during her Journey, she couldn't even talk.]

Yes! But ah, I don't know on that. But they seem real enough? They look and sound and feel real at least.
