[It's her first attempt using this thing publicly? Sort of? She somehow manages. Though what results might be debatable in her success given most of what is seen is a mass of dogs.....a lot of dogs..so many ears and tails and tongues...enough that they are all but covering her accommodations. Those who pay attention may or may not notice the slight Colette-shaped hole indented in the wall from earlier when she tripped. It's fine, she's fine! Really! Though. She has decidedly gone from loving suddenly having so many dogs to realizing rather quickly that this is......not the ideal....

How is she supposed to give them all that love and attention and cuddles and pets and play with them all when there's so many?! How does she come up with this many names?! Colette panics, and. Well. She was told this thing, this....phone? lets her talk to everyone at once. Maybe someone else might like a dog? A pet? This was too many! As sad as that is to admit. For Colette who Adores dogs and all.]

Ah, I hope this is working? I haven't used this sort of thing before. Assuming this is working, I'm Colette! I only recently got here and all. I just -- everything I touch is turning into puppies and now there's too many dogs! And I never thought there was such a thing as too many dogs! But I can't take care of this many! Please?

Our world is a lot like this in some ways.
At least, cell phones were pretty common but not the natural magic part.

Now that I think of it, I wonder if it's something affecting the powers they gave us.
Can you still use your spells the same as before?

Yours is? I guess, everyone here really is from other worlds and all. Like when we met Sheena back home! She's from -- well. We thought Tethe'alla was the moon but it's like a whole other world in parallel to Sylvarant.

Something affecting our powers? I don't know. I haven't tried. But before I did make this little ball of light? I can't do the things I could back home though.

So she's the same in appearance but has different memories than you?

[ It's a familiar enough concept. She had wondered the same about some of her own friends, given what they'd told her about their memories. ]

And if you can still make balls of light,
then maybe all the dogs are part of some kind of outside illness or curse.
I can't really explain it, but I'm wondering if it can be undone somehow.

Oh, she isn't here. I don't think. But it's more, we were told that Tethe'alla was the moon. I had no idea about it being another world parallel to Sylvarant where I'm from, about our mana supplies feeding off of each other like that with the Journey of Regeneration.

I'm not sure either on what to do. but if it's happening, there has to be a way to stop it? right?

I think I understand now.
Was it safe for the worlds to feed off one another, or was there any danger of one taking too much?

[ She'd hate to think of what that would mean, especially if those in power are aware and enabling it to happen. ]

And we might have to ask someone more experienced in magic to figure it out.
Maybe my friend, Aerith, might know.

It's like a cycle. Apparently. One world prospers, until the other world's Chosen succeeds with their Journey of Regeneration. Then it switches and the other world prospers instead. So me completing the Journey would mean Tethe'alla was in decline instead of Sylvarant.

[There were reasons Sheena was sent to kill her. To stop her from succeeding.

Only to end up getting all attached and befriending Colette because of course Colette did that.]

Aerith? You think she might be able to help?

That's a hard choice to make.
I don't think I ever could when so many would suffer either way.

[ Ideally, she'd want to save both worlds somehow, but what if there's no way to accomplish that? It's quite the dilemma this young woman had been dealing with before coming here, and Tifa wishes she knew how to help.

At least with the dogs, she can alleviate one of her troubles, however minute. ]

And she's better attuned to magic than I am,
although I'm not sure how much she knows about it either.

The ideal would be to figure a balance. We just weren't able to figure that out in time before I made it to the last Seal.

but I do think there is a way back home from here.

[ There has to be. They can't just spend the rest of their lives in this strange land, no matter how nice it may seem on the outside. It's not their home. ]
