Relieved, Mickey waves a friendly hello from his room - to his right is a panting pup, and on his hat is his familiar, a brown sprite-like thing with tattered clothes. ]

Gosh, you think I got it right this time? I sure hope so... well, guess there's only one way t'find out!

[ Clears throat! ]

Hiya, folks! My name is Mickey Mouse! These are my pals, Pluto -

[ "Rowf!" Pluto happily barks. ]

And... uh, well... they told me this lil guy is my "familiar", not really sure what it all means, so I'm not sure what to call him. I thought about "Pluto Junior" -

[ Said familiar pinches Mickey's ear, hard, and Mickey visibly winces. ]

But, uh, as you can see, he... doesn't really like it all that much, so I guess if you have any suggestions when it comes to names... Oh, right! I almost forgot why I was usin' this thing in the first place!

See, back in my world, I'm a musketeer - guess it's what you'd call a "knight" here! And I still haven't really gotten a hang of this magic stuff... but I figured I should keep up my swordplay while I'm here, so I don't get rusty! Magic's useful and all, but the more ways you can help out the better, right?

So I was wonderin' if there's anyone out here who would be willin' to help with that - training with swords every so often! Thanks a million!

[He doesn't sound mocking. It's said in a very mild manner, calm and curious.]

It is normal for your familiar to want a name of its own rather than just be a namesake to another. [Says the person who hasn't come up with a name for his own familiar yet....he's working on it.] My own sword skills could also use some polishing if you'd like to exchange pointers.

[And then there's the tip of antlers at the bottom of the video right before his familiar climbs up onto his lap, showing the top of her silvery lion head with an unhappy sound at not being the centre of his attention.] Ah, and this is my familiar. She also doesn't have a name yet.

So you’re a Musketeer back home? Perhaps you can teach me how to fight with a sword someday, I once held a sword and it was just a one time thing only.

I don't know how to wield a sword, but I wouldn't mind learning if you wouldn't mind teaching me. I need to adjust to not having my usual powers.

Teach? Well, gosh, I've never taught anyone before... and what I learned was kinda self-taught, watching the musketeers whenever I could...

[She just hates feeling so helpless as she does right now. She needs to be strong enough to protect herself, Nyuu, and those she cares about who are here with her. She remembers what happened the last two times she wasn't strong enough to protect her first puppy and Aiko.

After a small pause, she can't help but ask:]

So, is everyone from your world like you? Animals, I mean. Not that that's a problem. I'm just curious.

That's right! We have all kinds! Mice, ducks, dogs, cows... I'd say the only thing we don't have is humans - being here, I'd never even heard the word before!

What is your familiar? You could name them based off their personality?

As for my buddy here... He's what you call a "Farfadet"! I heard about 'em when I was just a kid, but I stopped believing in them when I got older. They were helpful little guys that tended to farms, fields and horses... but I haven't got any of those!
