It's funny to me how we have pumpkins running rampant and other sort of spooky stuff when this place has never heard of Halloween. Though sure, pumpkins are a part of autumn anyway.

That being said, advice to anyone who might need it: don't go trick or treating unless you want to get arrested by knights. This isn't America, going to knock people's doors asking for candy and threatening them with a prank isn't going to go well.

I suppose celebrating is an universal thing. It's just how and why we celebrate that differs.

I rarely participated directly in many of the festivities back home, myself. So being able to do so here is nice.

As long as you don't bother the natives and try to make them celebrate festivies they don't celebrate, you can celebrate whatever you want.

I suppose there could be those who would be curious but too shy to ask directly. But there's no reason to assume that of anyone.
