It's funny to me how we have pumpkins running rampant and other sort of spooky stuff when this place has never heard of Halloween. Though sure, pumpkins are a part of autumn anyway.

That being said, advice to anyone who might need it: don't go trick or treating unless you want to get arrested by knights. This isn't America, going to knock people's doors asking for candy and threatening them with a prank isn't going to go well.

But considering Samhain is a bit different from Halloween, I would see that be celebrated more likely.

No. I wouldn't say it's even connected to the Britain we know.

I asked around and the solstice last month summons the dead. Then they depart in October to go to other worlds for their various celebrations of deceased visitors. That's how they do things here.

Connected to an Britain with history and mythology that is nearly identical to the one I knew. If the Fae exist in this world, why would Samhain not?

Because they have different traditions. And it's not like you need to summon fae here when they're part of our daily life anyway.
