Saving multiple worlds -- no, multiple universes, do you think that is enough to erase the sins that a person has committed?

Or is this merely what is right for those that are sinners?

Perhaps, redemption is beyond us and we can only do a little bit of good before judgement.

I forgive him because I can understand his point.

[ The ritual does demand a heavy price in exchange for what it does for the world, and perhaps it is appropriate for this to be her family's burden. If the empire of old did this to the world, then it seems just for them to continue to offer sacrifices for the desertification to stay at bay. And yet, it was the fault of their ancestors, and have they not suffered enough for the world?

The second part gives her pause, and Eruca is relieved when he adds to it. ]

Thank you. He did. He will, soon. Once time begins to move again.

[ She will perform the ritual without him. She will save his life. Even though he believes in his duty and has come to embrace his role, she will save him, at any cost to herself. After all, he was chosen in her stead. ]

If I may... while past actions can't be erased, future ones can be made that are better. I believe that is the only way any of us can hope to "erase" whar we did, if at all.
