[Uenoyama posts a picture of the tree first, and then follows it with a comment.
One would think that those are low-hanging paper decorations in circle shapes. But no. They are not. Those are sugar cookies in every single color that exists. On trees.]
I thought the saying was "Money doesn't grow on trees"
But apparently, cookies do
WHY are there cookies on trees!?
Are these things actually edible?
Is this some kind of trick?
Like a pretty looking mushroom but it's actually poisonous?

But it's worth being cautious about the insect nests in some of those trees. Some of them are hard to see.

Insect nests? Thanks for the heads up. I'll do my best to stay clear
[Especially since his siphon magic is... being ~wild~]

[He attaches a picture of a wasp's nest. It's on the ground, in the dirt. A few colourful cookie crumbs are scattered nearby, but no insects are in sight - oh, except the one wasp flying straight at the corner of the lens, the perspective making it look like it dwarfs even the base of the tree. Don't worry about it.]

[He can probably blow up those insects if they try flying at him. His magic is being a bit out of control these days, overloading his kinetic magic with a siphon is a regular occurrence these days.]

They just looked like flies.
[He could search for pictures on his phone right now and clear this up, but that would be rude while he's supposed to be helping out with the trees!]
Though I remember hearing that the bees live somewhere else. Farther out of town, near the Red Spring.

[Although if it's flies, that doesn't sound too appetizing...]
Really? That's odd. I didn't hear about that.
[Maybe he should leave the music shop once in a while...]

Are you fond of bees or something?
[No judgement here. He wouldn't say he cares about bugs much - he can tell butterflies apart from non-butterflies, and not much else - but they've never bothered him when they weren't trying to kill him.]

Back home there were movements to protect the bees because without them we'd have no more food
[That's the best he can explain. He didn't listen carefully to what was said.]

They really do sound important. I never knew!
Here's hoping the cookie trees aren't included in that. The bugs here mostly just seem hostile.

They won't sting without reason. Wasps do.
Well, hostile bugs I can kinda handle. I don't want to HAVE to
but you know
stuff happens

[He learns something new from his phone every day.]
But they aren't too bad to deal with. Light armour is enough, as long as you're cautious. I'm sure you'll be fine.
Good luck if you decide to come help!

Thank you. Good luck to you too!
