Sadly, not much, based on what I can find so far. Seems like someone was trying to pull a prank, but might've gone a little too far for my tastes.

It would depend on who asks for help and if it is an obvious threat. The man in question will probably not get my aid from now on.

I'm rather unhappy someone would pull such a trick on us, but I can only hope they have learned their lesson by now. It didn't seem to be borne of bad intention, at least.

As for the magic, I don't know if I am able to assist, but I would certainly try to be of any help I can.

There are plenty of way to test our abilities. Fake tasks in the potentially very dangerous forest is not appropriate way, as we had just arrived

I dont think it is worth getting angry over anymore. What's done is done. As you've said, we should try better adapting to surroundings.

It's fine either way; I'm no stranger to brutal practice.

It is true, yes. However, that type of magic is predictable, you could guess what happens when you try and cast certain spell

I have never experienced it. I do not know the extent of it. And I am reluctant on trying anything especially on unwilling, unaware people

Yes, at least my cooking skills are still here. My elemancy, however, is gone. Whatever this place is, it removed it and gave me new abilities that I need to train.

But I am alright, thank you for asking. I am glad to see you are doing good as well.
We need to stick together and figure out a way to get out of here.

Of course. I will need you to be completely focused, however. I know that the magic will depend on me but if it goes wayward you should be able to shrug off any damage it could cause.

That is the thing- I do not think you could shield this type of magic as it is something that is happening in your mind.
