What are the news on the person that deceived multiple people into rushing to the forest and getting stuck in time loops? I would like to introduce him to the story of "The boy who cried WOLF"

Whilst very tempting

I don't think we will leave a good impression if we started going around beating people up

But I will mark it down and make sure to answer their call if there is another request

[WHELP. Too late for that. The guy was remorseful, but Caesar still punched him about it.

At least he got to keep the pasta strainer or whatever it is.]

You would answer them again? It would only be another ploy for their entertainment or some kind of wild goose chase.

[It's probably something Gladio would do as well, but then Ignis would interfere before it got out of hand.

Pasta strainer is a good utensil.]

It would depend on who asks for help and if it is an obvious threat. The man in question will probably not get my aid from now on.

[Caesar's so wary of any future quests that may crop up. FOOL HIM ONCE, CAMELOT.

But he knows full well the moment he sees another plea for help, he'll investigate. ]

Probably not? You're too kind to even offer him a slight chance of redemption.

Well if he's bleeding at my feet, I would offer some aid. I do not want the blood of an innocent fool on my hands.

Not too long. I have picked up on the solution to breaking out rather quickly.

[He's a very logical person.]

[That's a decent point. Even he would offer help in that instance, as unhappy as that would make him.

Did you? It took me several squirrels to figure out the puzzle.

[There would be some berating on Ignis' half, but yes. He can't just look away from innocent folk, no matter how stupid they are.]

I was always good with puzzles and logical questions. Unfortunately, not everyone is. Which is why I made a few trips back to make sure no one is stuck there permanently.

[He didn't find anyone. Or the forest refused to show him others.]

[Puzzles aren't his strong suit-he never really saw the appeal of them. Too much time and very little action. They're frustrating and he's impressed this guy would make that puzzle filled trek over and over, even if he enjoys them. Very few would do the same.]

It's good you're among the newcomers then and not on the side of those who would put fake quests out there. If you weren't there to grab the stragglers, they may still be wandering to this day.

[One can say 'it comes with the job' as he's royal advisor, although his main job is to protect Noct. When he was sure the prince was safe, Ignis returned to see if he can lend a hand.]

I am not used to having plenty of time on my hands so putting up such silly things as fake quests is something I would never resort to. Even if it is to check on someone's skills- I prefer the direct approach.

That is what I was afraid of. If people got stuck in that maze for too long they would suffer from cold, hunger, or thirst. Luckily I haven't heard of any incidents. Yet.

Neither have I, but who knows how many were taken advantage of by that fool or who might fall for it in the future.
