I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone of Murphy's Law.

You may not call it that. You may not know it exists. But I promise you, it holds true for every culture, in every time period, in every universe:

Anything that can go wrong, will.

Does it seem like a bad idea? It is. Is there a chance it'll blow up in your face? It will, and probably everyone else's face too. Is it going to make strangers mad at you? Don't do it.

[ She looks the camera dead in the eye, glaring as though she can stop people from being stupid by sheer force of will. She will damn well try regardless.

Also, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I'm sharing it anyway:

Necromancy is never the answer.

I can protect people with necromancy and demonic cultivation. I mean, I'm a little rusty - it has been awhile. My A-Chen has helped me with my golden core, so I don't need to rely on dark spells so much.

I don't know what most of that means but it still sounds like Necromancy Bad and you're a hired gun who'll do pretty much whatever for money.

Not anymore. I used to be that way. I was worse than you can imagine.

But I have a good reason to behave.

You'd be surprised what I can imagine. I'll maybe consider taking you off my watch list.

I don't want to be like that anymore. I didn't understand the ramifications; I was too selfish, too wrapped up in my own misery.

I'm not miserable anymore.
