If you were planning on going after the dragon because of the quest, don't bother anymore. It's dead.
[Ooc: anon until proven otherwise, brought to you by Jean, Mikasa and Mukuro not wanting to make a public announcement but also wanting to save others from making the trip.
Though it's still likely gonna be something that people will find out about, considering Celliwig will think of them as heroes ksjffd but anyway.]

...Do you also have any injured that need tending to?

One of us has healing magic, so any injuries are being taken cared of.

It would have been better to capture it... but it still won't cause anymore harm dead either, I suppose. Better than letting it go.

Why'd you want to capture it?

I hope you're satisfied with killing a wounded creature.

Who said anything about satisfaction? Killing is killing. There's nothing satisfactory about it.

You okay? Injuries all taken care of?

Yeah. One of us has healing magic, so we're fine.

Honestly I don't think there is a solution that would have made everyone happy. Had this been up to me, it would have been captured and put on trial. Had we reached an understanding with the beast, mayhaps we would have found a powerful ally in the dragon. But then, what if it had escaped and revealed itself to be an enemy that had purposefully taken all those lives?
Where our survival is concerned, killing the dragon may have been the right choice. None of us are gifted with clairvoyance. It is impossible to know what would have happened, had we tried negotiating with it. Perhaps the dragon could have been a friend. Or perhaps next week it could have been setting our homes in Camelot on fire.
I do not believing chastising those of us who did what they believed to be best is helpful.

...But I guess I only ever see things like that. Like a battle. Targets. Enemies.
Um. Thanks. For not being mad at me. And I'm glad you're back to your old self now.
[Mukuro probably spent...a not insignificant amount of time keeping an eye on Monika from the shadows after she'd lost her memory.
If she'd got a nickel for every time someone she cared about had given themselves temporary amnesia for the sake of an experiment, she'd have two nickels- which isn't much but it's strange it's happened twice now.Not that Monika would know it was her given she was forgoing her usual knife emoji sign-off, but she figured she had ways of working it out.]

A regrettable necessity, but one that had to be seen too. In the end, I believe this was the most prudent course of action, whatever others have to say.
