But, that will come into play in a little bit. He shuffles for a moment, and decides for a second to be curteous to put on a tank top to go with the rest of the outfit. He'll shift back towards the camera. ]

Sorry about that - It's been awhile - hello~

To people who are newer here and who have been here awhile. I'm JJ.

I have a question for all of you, or something to think about. Being in places like this, sometimes there's no obligations like at home. So I want to know -- are there things you still want to learn while you're here? Have you already learned something? What is it that you want to learn?

Where I was before, I wanted to find something new to do, and ended up learning how to pole dance, well, and ballroom dance. But since I don't have a partner here today --

[ And that's when he stands, and shifts towards the pole. He carries the camera with him and positions it somewhere else so there's a nicer view of it. He places both of his hands on the pole and positions himself carefully and works into the first positon. He holds it there for a few moments, then shifts to the ground to change and move into the Butterfly. Only a couple moves for now because to be honest, he'd rather be chatting away. ]

It's totally worth taking up something new. And I guess I should say -- if anyone wants to learn to do a few things here - I'd be happy to show you the ropes.

Yeah! It's a type of dance. Well, when you add moves between stuff it's a little more dance I guess.

[Rinea leans away from the camera finally, looking slightly more like a person. The lack of clothing on JJ is a bit of a surprise for her, but maybe it's necessary for the pole? She doesn't want to sound uncouth by asking. Also she's been to the beach once, everyone looked like that! Maybe it's normal!]

It looks very difficult! And different from dances I know... Is it on the performance side, rather than the social side?

It's more about performance than socializing. But I guess there's ways to turn it into something social.

[ A small laugh. ]

Uh, not really social in the way that dancing with partners is, though. You know?

Fascinating... the amount of muscle control and dexterity for such a thing would be extraordinary. I like to think of myself as quite agile and I'm not sure that I could hold myself aloft so easily. And upside down no less!

[And y'know that's quite the view but he's absolutely not paying attention to that. He is a proper nobleman and is interested only for the sake of the sheer strength required to hold such a position.]

If- [Hmmm... no, no it's not proper at all to offer himself as a potential dance partner. Not to a man. Which only makes him think about floating about dancing with Claude and he's suddenly glad he didn't chose video or he'd be caught blushing.] Depending on what types of ballroom dances you know I am quite well versed in many and have been attending galas since I was a boy.

[There. An implication that he could perhaps teach JJ a thing or two he might not know, not a direct offer of dancing. Success.]

Well - I'm athletic to start so that definitely helped! But I've been practicing almost two years.

[ Which still feels like he's picking up on stuff quickly. He doesn't really think anything of it. ]

I'm always happy to learn a thing or two with ballroom. I'd still call myself a beginner. So someone with a bit of expertise is too good of a chance to pass up.

I hardly suspected I'd have much opportunity for dancing here lest the King himself were to host a ball. It would, perhaps, be beneficial to the both of us. Learning more of one another's dances.

Where you come from there may be types of ballroom dances that I am not aware of and vice versa. It could be considered an... exchange of culture if you will.

[How many excuses does he have to make before he can convince himself that it's okay to have some dance lessons? Who knows, maybe he'll get there eventually. As it is he's also going through reasons to justify it for the sake of his job as well. Surely knowing more dances would be better for clients at the club?]

Yeah! I'm glad to learn new things and show new things. Dancing is quite a bit of fun. I started learning it for figure skating and it helped me get better.

[ He seems happy to share knowledge. Plus he kind of just enjoys showing off. ]

I mean, it is cultural exchange, or it's just for fun.

Figure skating? Yet another thing I'm unfamiliar with.

[JJ's good mood is contagious though and Lorenz laughs it off instead of letting himself get too defensive about it. This is what he's meant to be doing, right? Making friends, learning about other worlds and cultures.]

No reason it cannot be both.

I've been learning how to use the internet, and experimenting with different kinds of art mediums. I mainly draw and paint, but this has been a chance for me to dabble in sculpting, and I recently found out that you can draw using a computer.

You're an artist, then? I'd love to see something you've drawn. I know you're pretty new with these things, but it's always cool to see someone who likes art.

I tried making something for that sculpting contest a while back. I didn't win.

I'm still not quite adept at drawing using a computer, especially with that odd plastic pen, but I've done quite a lot of traditional pieces. I mostly draw stuff from my world, or things that I've seen on quests.

I entered the singing one! I didn't win either and I'm a pro. So it was pretty hard to win at those!

[ He can thrive on attention. Which means he intends to do exactly - so he's going to give a mini show apparently just for her, and shift, moving to do the reverse superman then the closed rainbow. He'll return to her again. ]

I don't mind that, though. I have a job, after all.
