[The broadcast begins with a shot of Darin's forge, full of various workspaces and call kinds of tools. The forge itself is burning brightly in the center of the work floor and in the back you can see a waterwheel turning and depositing water into a small channel that Darin uses to pump water throughout the forge and subsequently his home.]

[He wanders on screen and takes a seat, addressing the camera.]

So, I've been doing a lot of thinking. Shocking, I know, right? But hear me out.

I've been here for about six months and my forge has been in business for the last couple. But with all of the different ways to facilitate trade between Camelot and its neighbors, I'm a little surprised to find there isn't some sort of business or merchant guild. At least none that I've found.

Anyway, I'm doing pretty well for myself financially, what with all of the quests and my forge and I got to thinking. How many of you have business ideas that need investors? Got an idea for a shop? Maybe even a product? Let's workshop it!

If there's anything I've learned, it's that plenty of alliances can be formed through good business, and with the recent business with Celliwig and Arthur, maybe it would be good to start finding ways to extend as many olive branches as we can...

So, who's got a dream they want to try and make a reality?

Funny you say this when I was going to ask the traders about getting a business license. Was thinking a shop for obtaining materials, especially stuff that comes from dangerous creatures or locations.

The monsters here are insanely resilient and powerful. If I could make gear with their teeth or horns or anything like that, it could go a long way!

Yeah, figured that could be of use to craftsmen like yourself along with potion makers. Just gotta be careful and make sure to not break the rules here about not hunting for sport. But there's people who got a taste for weird types of meat.

Yeah, I'd never look to trade in anything illegal. I want all business dealings to be on the up and up. I've seen too many business men get tempted by coin.

If we're gonna forge alliances, I want to do it right. No compromising principles.

Same here. My home's a prison city, no one knows better than me how much one doesn't want to be stuck in one. I've been hunting for my own food since arriving here so I know how to handle those rules.

I'm not really seeking to make a business, but you said you got a forge, right? Um, do you think you could make a really weird weapon? Honestly, I'm not even sure if that'd be useful... But it's something I've had on my mind for a while.

A really weird weapon? I'd be lying if I said my interest wasn't piqued. What've you got?

So it's like, kind of a staff... A bit shorter than that.

[ She sends him a picture of... Her pen. It's a pink pen with a heart-shaped tip. ]

Shaped and colored like that. [Awkward laughter.] I'd like the heart to be a pink jewel. But most important, I'd like a space inside the pen so that my phone can be encased in. Put in and taken out at will. But like, I don't want people to see the phone. [That was hard to explain.] Basically, what's on the screen and the camera would both be redirected towards the heart-shaped jewel.

[ That was complicated. She imagined there'd be like mirrors inside of the pen-staff so that the screen and camera would reach the jewel. ]

This way whenever I use Technomancy, it'd look like the spells are coming from the heart-jewel. [A very awkward pause.] ..... Is it even doable?

...Huh. So, you want a staff in this shape that also acts as a mounting base for your phone...

[Darin rubs his chin.]

I should be able to whip something up. Something that, when you dock your phone in the staff, it redirects the camera to the jewel...like a lens...

...Yeah...Yeah! Yeah, I can do that!

Thats fair but what about the rest of us? Wouldnt some sort of structure of system be of some use? Especially since a lot of people being transplanted here and are trying to open a shop have no prior business experience

A guild could help with that

Well, as glad as I am as a businessman to fill a void, it's because of Celliwig and the traders that I think it would help to have a coalition of businesses to strengthen alliances through commerce.

I mean, some of the best alliances come about through trade.

[Kratos missed Darin's stupid video because he was at work. At the café, not at a cool thing that requires stabbing things. Having just finished his shift at the café, when he shows up at the forge looking for Darin, it's without any of his stabbing equipment. In fact, he's dressed pretty casually compared to the last few times he and Darin had crossed paths. He also has a small box from the café with him, but that's not important.]
