[VIDEO] | UN: HAMMERTIME

[The broadcast begins with a shot of Darin's forge, full of various workspaces and call kinds of tools. The forge itself is burning brightly in the center of the work floor and in the back you can see a waterwheel turning and depositing water into a small channel that Darin uses to pump water throughout the forge and subsequently his home.]

[He wanders on screen and takes a seat, addressing the camera.]

So, I've been doing a lot of thinking. Shocking, I know, right? But hear me out.

I've been here for about six months and my forge has been in business for the last couple. But with all of the different ways to facilitate trade between Camelot and its neighbors, I'm a little surprised to find there isn't some sort of business or merchant guild. At least none that I've found.

Anyway, I'm doing pretty well for myself financially, what with all of the quests and my forge and I got to thinking. How many of you have business ideas that need investors? Got an idea for a shop? Maybe even a product? Let's workshop it!

If there's anything I've learned, it's that plenty of alliances can be formed through good business, and with the recent business with Celliwig and Arthur, maybe it would be good to start finding ways to extend as many olive branches as we can...

So, who's got a dream they want to try and make a reality?

Wait, 'hero tendencies?' I'm just trying to get some businesses off the ground! Nothing heroic about that...

You've managed to avoid the ridiculous curse that's been going around recently, I take it? It's because of that- I've been trying to work on a counter-curse to fix the problem but...

[Well, no luck on that front as of yet.]

You're relentlessly rushing around offering to help everyone else with their plans- I think that counts.

They look kinda regal though. I dunno, they work for you.

Just because I help people doesn't make me a hero, Caster! I just...I'm doing my part. We all should be.

But perhaps you're right, not that helping people is a particular strong suit of mine. It's a good idea.

...Honestly, helping people makes me feel better about myself. It...gives me a sense of control. It's something I can personally affect, you know?

[He smiles slightly.]

Doesn't sound like something an evil witch would do...

[A light blush came into her cheeks and the tips of her ears at the comments.]

She reached out to me when I broke down, I'm only returning the favour...!

...Besides, I was worried.

[How dare you call her out on being nice Darin!]

[He laughs.]

I know. I know.

Remember what I said? All it takes is one person to reach out. Changes everything.

I'm glad you're finding a place here. Everyone deserves one, after all.

...I don't want to say you're right.

[But, well, she basically was.]

But I'm glad you are as well...your business is going well if you can consider plans like this.

...How do you feel about wine?

And if you're asking me out for drinks, then I wholeheartedly accept~!

You know I could be luring you into a trap again, don't you?

[Such a naive hero type.]

But...actually, this would make things a little easier. I at least owe you drinks for the trouble I put you through, and besides, it's at least related to what I wanted to discuss.

[Assuming the same trick wouldn't work twice! But, secretly, she was glad he was giving her the benefit of the doubt rather than treating her with the suspicion she deserved.]

Let's meet for lunch then. I found a little place that will let you bring your own drinks in, so that should do nicely.

Now let me see, how do I...

[Caster's brow furrowed in concentration- Darin will get sent a screenshot of their conversation, a photo with Caster's finger obscuring the camera lens, and finally the address of a small meze bar-esque location in town.]

There we go.

[He snickers but decides he won't tease her about her limited skills with technology.]

Oh...this looks nice.

Wait, bring your own drinks? You're bringing wine you made yourself?

I haven't poisoned it, if that's your concern...!

[Caster he literally never said that.

Still, she couldn't help but look a little sheepish.]

...But yes, that's...part of what I wanted to discuss. It's just something I've been experimenting with.

Well, obviously, that would make a really terrible business model.

But I had no idea you knew how to make wine! I'd love to try it!

[A relieved smile came into her face at that- his enthusiasm was infectious, after all, and it was definitely the best reaction she could have hoped for.]

I'm glad~ Well then. Does 2pm sound reasonable to you? If so, I'll see you there.

[And so, Caster headed to the arranged meeting point- 'Sadly', she couldn't wear her usual dark, creepy cloak with the curse affecting her, so was dressing a little more casually for the occasion.

More noticeably, she had a cloth bag with her- concealing a couple of bottles of her homemade wine.

He would turn up, wouldn't he...? Well, for now, she found them a table and took a seat to wait.]

[Of course he'll turn up! And when he does, he's got a very pleased smile on his face.]

You know, I have to say...horns aside, it's really nice to see you out and about in something other than a mysterious black cloak.

I never got the chance to say before, but these clothes really suit you! It's a lot better than that little number you were wearing when everyone got to Celliwig...

[Listen, he hasn't had a chance to tease her about that yet.]

Do you think so? Well, I-

[Oh- and then her cheeks and the tips of her ears went red at the tease.]

That was- you were never supposed to see me in my nightdress to start with, you cur!!

It's not like I was trying to ogle you! But...I mean, I guess I shouldn't be surprised...

I only wear boxers to sleep so...

But mine aren't see through...

They were only a little see through...! Honestly!

[Yup, definitely blushing with embarrassment- have fun teasing her Darin.]

"A little" is so much more than enough! Honestly, you're lucky I stumbled upon you. Anyone else might have really taken in the sights...

[Consider this revenge for the hexing incident.]
