1st Rewrite [Text - UN: koko1010]
So doom and gloom aside... I believe that there's a big problem that needs to be addressed here!
Why isn't anyone talking about the awesome gacha games on this smartphone!?
Warrior Stickman. Dragon Odyssey. Blood Empire. Strike Knights. There's so many mobile games around here and I see everyone is just sleeping on them! Do none of these ring a bell?! Have you all lost of your sense of romanticism and adventure!? We just had a tournament with Mario Party for crying out loud! Surely this has tickled your interests in video games a little bit!
For those who don't know... Gacha gaming is the ultimate pass time where you can play video games on your little smartphone here. Pretty self-explanatory, right? But be warn that if you decide to step into the world of gacha... It's a incredible hell that you're walking into. An all-or-nothing bloodbath where the strong live and the weak die. A path of carnage and broken dreams where 1-Star characters are devoured and forgotten by the irresistible 5-Star characters.
In a sense... Our society is no different from a gacha game, no? The strong and beautiful who live in high society are considered the 5-Star characters and we who have been drinking from the gutters and crawling through mud are the mere 1-Stars! But fear not 1-Stars... I, Tennouji Kotarou, the man who rules over common sense, am here to bestow my knowledge upon you! As the chosen "Common Sense Archon" it is my duty to pass on my fruits of wisdom!
So if you'd want a place to start, I can suggest that you play "Glory Kingdom"! It's one that I'm pretty into lately. Ever dreamed of befriending a cute goddess? Ever wanted to build your kingdom from the neck up? Ever wanted to team-up with a crazy tyrant babe who hates your guts, then slowly falls in love with you as you show her the joys of the normal world?!
Then this game is absolutely for you! They're even giving away free gems for new players who join, so what are you waiting for? Don't be a 1-Star, be a ★COOL STAR★ and join in the big sensation sweeping the island nation!

and video is fine even if thanks to the curse of animal magic his cat features have been replaced by goat features instead. he's mostly worried about his eyes looking creepier than usual, so he's not holding the camera as close as he might ordinarily. the little horns and the floppy ears aren't so terrible, he supposes... ]
You aren't mad, are you? I mean... I probably shouldn't have assumed 'cause obviously you weren't thinking the same as me. Uh... but yeah? We? If—... I mean, only if you want.
You can say no! Just to be clear... you can totally say no. In which case "boyfriend" would refer to having a friend who is both a boy and a friend and that's all it ever has to be.

[When he sees Jongdae looking like this-- He can't help but feel his insides turn to molten cheese. The adorable flicky ears, precious little dewdrop nose, the pretty eyes, the tiny and kind of delicate looking horns... so many thoughts swarm inside his head that he can't be sure he won't blurt out something dumb, because the urge to take Jongdae somewhere where it's just the two of them, and doing all kinds of things to examine these cute changed features is much too vivid. And Souma is... not sure he can handle himself. His resolve grows thin at times-- very thin. It's all a sweet kind of consternation, one he cherishes late at night when he gazes at the window and lets his thoughts drift to just enjoying the ups and downs of life.
Having ups and downs to have is something so precious. Something he wouldn't want to ever let go.
He claps his hand over his mouth and feels his face turn completely pink as he looks down to show some goddamned restraint and respect. And he shakes his head no.
It's a few moments of swallowing air through his cupped fingers and finally, finally he lowers his hand and glances up at Jongdae through his eyelashes. He instantly feels that inner part of him want to surge forward, his shadow side that has been now returned to him since arriving here pulling hard at the reins, so to speak. Souma breathes slowly to come back to center and quiet the more carnal part of his psyche back down.
Behind him, in the background, Kokuryuu has awakened where he was napping on the couch. It is as if he were pinged by the goings-on. He lifts his head slowly, eyes focusing on Souma and his computer and Jongdae on the screen.
Souma speaks low and soft. As soft as a cherry blossom petal on the cheek. It's the only way that he feels anyone deserves to talk to Jongdae, who deserves only the best, only the most refined and lovely of things.]

I still feel a little bad though. I should've come and talked to you first. In person. Where I come from, half the time people only find out about stuff because they updated their Facebook relationship status. Which isn't really an excuse, I realise...

[Souma looks up now, biting some dry skin peeling on his bottom lip. He shakes his head softly. It takes too long before he speaks, but, he chooses his words carefully]
I was young when I left my home. I only remember... a little. But. We are from two worlds. So why... sh-shouldn't we do both?
[He takes a deep breath. Yes, he's been in therapy and all of that good stuff. It's helping a bit.]

[He grunts and his eyes look around the room. It feels too much like he is spreading honey on his sleeves for wasps to attack. He has something to give Jongdae and he just needs to make himself do it. This is a good chance.]
