Okay, looks like not everyone knows about this, so I'm gunna try to get right to the point.

Apparently, someone put out some magic that's given some of you humans animals ears and tails and what not. Personally I think you guys look better that way. But now another dude thinks that A) an animal mage did it, which makes no sense, 'cause last I checked, animal changes can only do that stuff to themselves, and B) thinks the best solution to reverse what's going on by murdering all the animal mages.

Yeah. Solid logic there.

I'm trying to give a head's up here because not only have animal mages been attacked, but so does anyone who already looked like an animal, including yours truly. I've personally seen some of these money-hungry monsters go after kids, so, just to be clear, it's bad out there right now. So if you're an animal mage, or you've always had non-human traits, please be safe! Don't go out alone if you can, stay in groups!

I'm sure we can get this nonsense wrapped up as soon as possible, but until then, let's make sure no one messes with our mages!

Tohru Honda? OH ABSOLUTELY. We have to protect Tohru! She is the queen of precious cinnamon rolls!

[Look. If Kyo is that out of touch with popular culture he thinks Jason from the horror movies is.....a bear. He definitely has no clue on those memes or takes. Sorry Della! But he definitely does agree on keeping Tohru safe! He vowed to years back to Kyoko and he intends on keeping to that.]

But yeah. I'm not about to let anything happen to her here. Now I'm here anyway. But I hear that. I've been in plenty of fights back home too. Mostly jerks that'd tease me about my hair.

I have no idea. It's something the kids say when they think someone is cute. Slang today is super weird.

[He has Kisa and Hiro and such around every so often but it was usually more Tohru that spends time with them in comparison to Kyo. So of course he misses out on this. And is clueless. Like he is about a lot of things, as much as he has been trying to improve.]

I'm from Japan. Everyone assumes I dye it. But it is my natural hair colour, just. Everyone else unless theirs is dyed tends to have dark hair - brown or black.

Wow. Human worlds are weird. That's a ridiculous thing to make fun of. I can't imagine mocking anyone for what color feathers they have.

Yeah, well. It's how I grew up. Some members of my family have kinda unique hair colours.

[Depending on the animal they are linked with in the zodiac and all. So Kyo isn't the only one. But he's probably the one that reacts the worst to it, in getting into fights over the teasing.]

I'm better on it now at least. Not fighting so much.

A rainbow? No. Kisa has lighter hair than me but hers is red too. Ayame has white hair. Haru has black and white hair.

White hair is unusual in your world?

Ah, she came to live with us back home. Initially, while her grandfather's place was figuring renovations and then she decided she wanted to stay. We go to school together.

Yeah, well. Even if I'm still figuring things out. It's good to know she isn't completely alone without any familiar faces, I guess.

[Kyo might. Be in denial on what the story is with Tohru's feelings for him, even if he himself has admitted on his for her. Just not to Tohru herself yet. But eventually they would get there.]

She isn't. You just have to get to know her to be able to tell. I can.

[He's seen her upset. Seen her cry. He knows Tohru has her own issues and insecurities to work through. But then, the others tend to just see the surface. What she wants them to see. Kyo is the only one that can see through that to know when something is really up.]

But yeah. Generally, she tries to be positive and optimistic. More than me.
