Okay, looks like not everyone knows about this, so I'm gunna try to get right to the point.

Apparently, someone put out some magic that's given some of you humans animals ears and tails and what not. Personally I think you guys look better that way. But now another dude thinks that A) an animal mage did it, which makes no sense, 'cause last I checked, animal changes can only do that stuff to themselves, and B) thinks the best solution to reverse what's going on by murdering all the animal mages.

Yeah. Solid logic there.

I'm trying to give a head's up here because not only have animal mages been attacked, but so does anyone who already looked like an animal, including yours truly. I've personally seen some of these money-hungry monsters go after kids, so, just to be clear, it's bad out there right now. So if you're an animal mage, or you've always had non-human traits, please be safe! Don't go out alone if you can, stay in groups!

I'm sure we can get this nonsense wrapped up as soon as possible, but until then, let's make sure no one messes with our mages!

A rainbow? No. Kisa has lighter hair than me but hers is red too. Ayame has white hair. Haru has black and white hair.

[And Yuki. But Kyo is never that keen to go into things about him.]

White hair is unusual in your world?

[ she has a right to be baffled, due to her own obvious hair color. ]

It is unusual if you aren't an old grandparent. Yeah.

[Which. Ayame and Haru were not. Yet.]

I'm starting to think I'll never understand humans.

It's okay. I'm getting better but I still don't really get it all the time either.

[He's so used to most everyone looking down at him, to everyone teasing him because he is clueless about popular culture and such.]

So how do you know Tohru? Did you meet her here, or are you from her world?

Ah, she came to live with us back home. Initially, while her grandfather's place was figuring renovations and then she decided she wanted to stay. We go to school together.

[He. Won't mention about the tent.....]

Aw, that's real nice of you guys! I bet she's so happy to have a good friend like you here!

Yeah, well. Even if I'm still figuring things out. It's good to know she isn't completely alone without any familiar faces, I guess.

[Kyo might. Be in denial on what the story is with Tohru's feelings for him, even if he himself has admitted on his for her. Just not to Tohru herself yet. But eventually they would get there.]

I'll say! Sometimes, I swear she's too good for her own... well, good! No one is that happy all the time!

She isn't. You just have to get to know her to be able to tell. I can.

[He's seen her upset. Seen her cry. He knows Tohru has her own issues and insecurities to work through. But then, the others tend to just see the surface. What she wants them to see. Kyo is the only one that can see through that to know when something is really up.]

But yeah. Generally, she tries to be positive and optimistic. More than me.

... Awww! So you know her REALLY well, like a best friend! That's great!

Something like that. I mean. We did live together, so. Of course I got to know her over time with that.

[Not gonna mention how he already knew Tohru and knew of her earlier from Kyoko. Tohru herself isn't necessarily aware on that yet.]

Well, what's your name? I'm friends with Tohru, you're friends with Tohru, so you know what that means!

[ it means we are now BESTIES ]

Kyo. Kyo Sohma.

[Others may or may not already have heard of him from Tohru, maybe. But Kyo is not. As socially adept. Try as he is in improving and getting better about socializing and getting along with others and all.]

Any friend of my friend is also my friend! So now we're friends!

I haven't even properly met you yet?

[She.....wants? To be his friend? Kyo just isn't necessarily used to that. Some at school who were oblivious chatted with him and such but that isn't necessarily the same thing as being friends. As family.]

Sure it does! Friendship doesn't have rules!

We haven't even met in person?

[Look he doesn't really do technology to have online friends or whatever? Or pen pals. So of course this is a little weird and unusual for him.]
