[As the recording starts, there's the faint sound of movement in the background as Gundham is exploring a bit of forest.]

So, as it seems our 'hosts' - if we can truly call them that - are intent on keeping us here, it would behoove us to acquaint ourselves with the surroundings. I will say that as far as prisons go, this is not the worst. However, I do have a question. Are any that can access this familiar with the local wildlife? I've been attempting to observe but having just arrived, I'm sure my scent is unfamiliar enough to have them on edge.

However... there is wildlife here. That in itself is... unexpected.

... How is wildlife unexpected?

[She can hear movement in the background. Is he outside? That makes the question all the more confusing.]

How dangerous do you suppose the local wildlife can be? I haven’t gone to the woods so far, but...

(Harry isn’t sure what kind of wildlife Avalon could possibly have, but he can hear noises from where Gundham is at. He hopes that there better be no Dementors roaming around in the forest.)

If you think this is a prison, you must not have been locked up very often in the past. As far as I can tell, we can go anywhere we want to here and no one is stopping us. It might not be the most interesting place I've ever been, but it's not a prison.

And if you're worried about the wildlife, bring someone along who can talk to them when you go out.

The animals here are definitely strange, but I know I also seem pretty strange to a lot of people here.

A lot of the flora around seems pretty normal, but there's also a lot I don't recognize. Which makes sense considering that this place has magic.

Already planning trouble?

Why are you worried about your scent? Do you stink?

Are you talking about the familiar things or the animals in the woods? Because one is definitely more unexpected than the other, I'm pretty sure the deer here are normal.

[ There's a beat, a thoughtful hum from Mista's end as if he realises that this guy might not exactly understand what he means. ]

Like 'normal' normal and not it's 'normal to have deer fingers' normal.

Why are you trying to gauge the wildlife of all things?

[Only a little judgmental. It's mostly curiosity because he can think of a thousand more pressing matters than whatever animals are wandering around the woods.]

If you need someone to talk with animals, I can try to mediate with them. At least I can blend in and observe.

Nah, this ain't nothing like a prison buddy. In this place, as far as I can see, the guards aren't ready to shoot to kill and there are no bars.

Actually, if I had to I think I'd more call this an RPG.

But yeah, chances are the wildlife could smell you. Animals tend to avoid humans more often than not--unless they're gators, and honestly just fuck gators. I could live without those assholes creeping around.
