[As the recording starts, there's the faint sound of movement in the background as Gundham is exploring a bit of forest.]

So, as it seems our 'hosts' - if we can truly call them that - are intent on keeping us here, it would behoove us to acquaint ourselves with the surroundings. I will say that as far as prisons go, this is not the worst. However, I do have a question. Are any that can access this familiar with the local wildlife? I've been attempting to observe but having just arrived, I'm sure my scent is unfamiliar enough to have them on edge.

However... there is wildlife here. That in itself is... unexpected.

I'm pretty sure, anyway, only Louis has ever been this defensive about deer fingers.

That is me. A deer person. Just as you are a human person. I assume you're human. Maybe you're not.

Wait. Deer person!?

Well, where I'm from we just call me a deer.

Yes, I'm a deer. And for some reason this fellow is obsessed with my fingers.

[Gundham's tone is one of someone clearly shaken to their very core.]

Deer cannot speak! How can you claim to be a deer while speaking on a phone such as this!?

[At least he's not freaking out about fingers anymore?]

I'm not claiming anything. I am a deer. Fine, fine.

[ Switches to video. ]

[As the switch to video is made, Gundham's eyes can be seen going wide for half a moment before the camera kinda goes nuts as the phone tumbles from his hand and into the grass. A moment later he picks it up looking... shaken, but a bit more calm.]

I... this should not be possible and yet...

[disasdeer]

Obviously it can be totally possible. We're in a world where you can literally get magic, but a talking deer is weird.

[ Deadpan. ]

[gundhamster]

YES IT IS WEIRD!

[He blurts that out without thinking.]

I do not fully believe the story we have been fed, nor am I convinced this isn't some sort of deception...

While I can't speak for this place we've all be pulled to - I am nothing like that. There's no way I'm any stranger than the things going on here.

Yeah, of course I'm a human, but where I come from deer people aren't a thing. Unless it's more like...oh, I just love deer, they're the best animal!

[ Is he laughing at his own impression of people who love deer? Yeah. ]

[disasdeer]

So like...deer fanboys or fangirls?

[ k. humans were weird already. mista has not helped their case. ]

[ There's a pause, Mista clicking his tongue out. ]

And we're not and stranger than deer people, so touché I guess...
