To water it down, there are two primary fields: One focuses on the documentation of history through the constellations, the other is related to divination.

They both have their merits and uses, but I do not excel in divination, so I can only admire it as more of an outsider.
Many cultures in the realm I come from have labeled the stars and written histories among them - a veritable library in the night sky. I find that admirable, for as the written and spoken word may change, the stars themselves seldom do.

lmao tell me about it. to think of the japanese i spoke in my time and the modern japanese, hell modern conversation in general, is wild. but even if i was summoned two thousand years after my time had come and gone, i could still look up and be under the same sky.

as for me, i only followed what ignited my ambitions. turns out that came to define my whole life. its what people remember my name for, a man who sought to unify an entire country under a single banner.

nope but anything that happens while im a Heroic Spirit kind of exists outside the strict confines of history OR fantasy tbh.

okay full disclosure that i suck at explaining this but imma try, so bear with me

OKAY. SO.

when Oda Nobunaga died in life, their life passed into legend, like i said. that qualifies them to have their spirit (or idk maybe a copy of their spirit? this is the part i know is kinda vague) goes to this like. metaphysical place called the Throne of Heroes.

so whenever a magus or like even the World itself needs a champion, they summon a Heroic Spirit from there as a Servant. normally, Oda Nobunaga is summoned under the class of Archer (because i fuckin loved guns and formed a specific style of anti-calvary formation with them) but like

me, specifically, im like. a glitch. my Spirit Origin is weird and seems to be made up of "possibilities" rather than anything else. thats why my class is Avenger.
