Well, where should I start....
A women's political party tired of the way men handled the last world war. After getting their hands on a tool called a Hypnosis Mic that boosts the strength of words, they managed to amass enough power to overthrow the old prime minister and install a gal of their own.

[Left out is the big, enormous, fucking huge hand Rei had in all this. Because of course.]

They passed a bunch of ordinances, but mostly Japan's now known known for banning weaponry and dampening if not outright ending its use worldwide.
Taxes are high, but that's not so bad. If you're like me, anyway!

( free time is a curse. she would always be searching for something to do when she did have time off back home. bothering Marc. bothering Ainsworth. training until she was exhausted. and those times had an end date, a return to normalcy and purpose, no matter how shit that purpose was. )

don't know what to do with myself here.

( learn magic? well, she's pretty adept at kinetic already and blood is... what it is. she's trying, but she doesn't favour it the same way kinetic almost melted into her whole being, perfectly merging with the way she already worked.

drink? bother the people she likes? she does both of those plenty and she's still bored. and when it comes to getting a job... she has no idea what she wants from that. a break from fighting. something she's good at.

but those two requests are directly at odds with each other. )
