My world, huh. Well, I'm something of a hero myself! I'm part of the Fire Force and we fight these things called Infernals in order to protect people and property.

[There's more to it than that but he's worried more details would be too scary for a child(?).]

Infernals? [Give her a moment.] You people go up against Hell or something?

[Mixed with a shock and anger in her voice than scared, disbelief. It could mean undead as well, but the guy proclaimed he's part of the Fire Force, and boy, that's some fire.]

Shinra gives her question some serious thought. If he was asked this a few months prior then his answer would have been a resounding "no" but with some of the things that have been uncovered...]

Sorta, I guess. Infernals are more like... fire zombies... but they do have a connection to what would be our world's version of hell. Most of the time Infernals attack people and things mindlessly so that's why there are people like me to stop them.

[That and this 'child' can speak of hell easily. At least he's not talking to her like a kid.]

[That earns a squeak. Just as she quickly draws back, there goes her phone, tilting upward until the camera viewed the ceiling instead. Paimon had her tales with some ghosts but not zombies. Paimon isn't a fan of spooky stuff. Instead of fixing her phone upright, she manages to crawl to look down at the phone instead.]

So, they're not the brightest but they can do some hard damage. [She's having a mental image of a Hilichurl with a torch charging in, yeah. Like that.] How do you stop them? With Hydro elemental skills only?

Yeah, that's a good way to put it. The only way to stop them is to the destroy the core in their chest. People in my world only have powers that are related to fire or heat so there's nothing like hydro skills either.

[Even then, he doesn't think those skills will even be helpful since Infernals' fires are on a different level than regular fire. They won't be that easy to put out.

Her reaction to Infernals does make him concerned so he figures it's probably better to talk about something else.]

Anyway you mentioned rewards earlier! What kind of rewards have you gotten before? I don't get rewards for being a hero where I'm from because I'm just doing my job.

Let me get this straight. Your world fights evil pyro zombies. Instead of using elemental reactions, you fight fire with crazy fire power? That's insane and stupid.

[She can't help but be curious about this, it's different from her world and their alchemy.]

Seriously? Their heads are mostly empty, I'm sure they carry something in there. [Paimon logic.]

Well, our rewards is what mora is left, chaos devices, rusty weapons here and there, arrowheads, a horn from a huge hilichurl, those kind of things.

Sometimes, we get treated to yummy food.

Yeah, when you put it that way, it does sound insane but it's kinda like the pyro zombies are level 1 but if you get infected by fire and don't become a zombie, then you get fire powers instead. That's levels 2 and 3. But mostly I guess whoever created our world just likes fire.

[He never really considered why everything in his world revolved around fire before but the Evangelist must have some affinity to it considering she created the Great Cataclysm with fire too.

As Paimon lists the rewards, Shinra's feeling better about his salary. Rusty weapons as a reward?? No thanks.]

I'm gonna be honest, I think the food sounds like the best reward out of all of those.

Food is always the best after a long day of work.

And people turn into zombies. [Well, duh. That's how zombies originate. Somehow, this doesn't surprise her so much.] So if you luck out, you get a burning sensational fire power.

Yeah. As where I'm from, each region is ruled by a different God, or what we call The Seven. [Eh... Spoilers and stuff.] Anyone blessed with a Vision are said to be recognized by God, so its not for everyone. Everyone's Vision is different. You can wake up one day with the element of pyro, cryo, hydro, electro, geo, or anemo.

Oh, so you guys just get your powers randomly, too, then. We don't know when our powers will manifest either.

[It's interesting how different worlds can be both different and similar. He knows there are worlds where people are born with powers and there are ones where no one ever gets powers so he likes that there's a place that similar to where he's from, only with more variety in the type of powers.]

That's cool! Kinda similar to my fire power since it's bright like sparkles and I can use it to fly.

[Maybe that's a stretch but he's trying to be relatable! The last time he had to deal with kids they just constantly bullied him so this is a nice change.]

[He holds four fingers up to the screen for emphasis. He really is telling the truth although he knows it sounds crazy since even back in his world, it's something only he can do and only under very specific circumstances.]

Nah, none of that. I actually used it not too long ago, just before I came here, and I still have all my hair.

[He's not sure why she'd think he'd burn off his hair but he ruffles it with a hand to prove that it is in fact still all on his head.]

I actually don't understand exactly how it works but it's like [and he hates to say this] I draw power from my world's god. Since I can already go fast, I guess it justs boosts that.

[He can also do more when he has Grace from Adolla but he doesn't understand how it works either. He just does it.]

Oh, so there is a God in his world. Paimon gathers the information here about this God and the fire zombies. Paimon taps her chin lightly.]

Similar to an elemental burst. [Which she continues to explain.] Collecting enough elemental energy for a super BOOM-CHAKA-LAKA! Wow, you can hop to next town easily with that kind of power too.

Yeah, I can go pretty far with it! Too bad I can't use it all the time though, only when I have a connection to the god I mentioned. So no super fast travel to a vacation spot.
