So, I'm sure by now you've seen Mr. Claude's post about a feast he wants to hold, and I'm not sure how many people are in a similar situation but...

I've never had to cook before, and buying food to bring seems like it would cost a lot and not be in the spirit of things, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Or could help teach me? Mr. Claude said I should bring bread, but I don't know how difficult that would be.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

Baking can be a messy affair. Flour and other ingredients tend to go astray, so an apron helps keep it off of your clothes!

Really? I mean, most of baking is practical solutions for things. Mixing bowls, rolling pins, the like.
