So, I'm sure by now you've seen Mr. Claude's post about a feast he wants to hold, and I'm not sure how many people are in a similar situation but...
I've never had to cook before, and buying food to bring seems like it would cost a lot and not be in the spirit of things, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Or could help teach me? Mr. Claude said I should bring bread, but I don't know how difficult that would be.
If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

What is this?]
Why do you write like this?
But I see... I'm pretty good at following directions, so maybe this won't be as disastrous as I thought it would be. I appreciate the guidance!

Dear Sir,
I am delighted to be of assurance to you! If you do decide to pursue baking, I wish you well-- and also hope that you will not lose heart should your first attempts go awry.
As to your first question... In my home country, letter etiquette is quite standardized for politeness and to ensure they reach their sender. Do you find it strange? I must admit I have been dropping some formalities here and there-- was that presumptuous of me? If I have offended you in some manner, please illuminate the specifics so that I may apologize and endeavor to correct it.
Thank you in advance for your reply.

I wasn't aware there was an etiquette for things like this? It's just that you're the only person I've seen write like this, and I didn't know why you would do such a thing, but if it's because that's how you were taught to do things and how things are supposed to be, that makes sense, and I know everyone is from such different worlds that it must be just as strange to you that nobody else writes like you do the way you writing like that is surprising to me.
Though I don't think it's a bad thing?
