So, I'm sure by now you've seen Mr. Claude's post about a feast he wants to hold, and I'm not sure how many people are in a similar situation but...

I've never had to cook before, and buying food to bring seems like it would cost a lot and not be in the spirit of things, so I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Or could help teach me? Mr. Claude said I should bring bread, but I don't know how difficult that would be.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

Bread actually can be a bit tricky if you've never cooked before. I'd actually advise to try something like biscuits if you're really set on bread. With those you just have to mix some stuff together and not burn them.

Not always. Bread has to rise and if you mess something up it either can end up not doing so or it rises and then falls flat.

Biscuits are a type of small roll you sometimes get with a meal.

Beats me in some cases, but most of the time it's because there's some difference in shape, size, texture, or ingredients. Once you learn how to read recipes and follow them you can use the names to find the dishes you want to make or use a vague term like bread to find a new type of bread.

Damn, you sure don't get out much, do you? There are tons of types of bread. Lots of different shapes, sizes, and ingredients used. Even worse if you go to some fancy place that caters to nobles and they seem to have a million varieties of everything that costs way more than it should.

Nah, it has a point. The different names tell people what to expect. That means the person who made the dish doesn't have to deal with a bunch of people asking annoying questions about what they made. Go out and eat at some restaurants, you'll learn what's what soon enough.
