Generally, there are predictive algorithms or simulations if something cannot easily be examined. But I suppose if they must be tested on a living person and had no choice...

Still, could you not just observe it in others?

Well, I haven't been here long enough to say for sure, but it's the first I've seen of text curse threats! Which makes me think it must be a fairly new thing. Someone's probably very excited about this.

...This could be a lot of fun, actually. With the other curses Rei couldn't exactly track their effects; only that they worked (since the magic got used up). This way, though, he could hear about it, AND it will end up a little stronger since it's a direct transmission... so why not. Hell Yeah.]
