Hey! Hi everyone. My name's Drake Mallard. I'm kinda new here? I just got here the other month. So I thought that I'd, y'know, reach out and talk to people. All of this... magic and humans, it sure is a lot to get used to! [He says with a laugh.] But I'm managing. It helps that there's familiar faces around. I've even heard that Darkwing Duck himself is here! So with him around, at least I don't expect crime to be a problem. I just wonder if someone could find definite proof that he's here... [He makes weighing motions with his hands while going on casually.] ...like maybe take pictures, share them on social media, let people know how cool he is? That's how I'll know for sure that we're dealing with the real deal!

[He clears his throat.]

That aside! I do have a few other questions. First of all, I understand that one of the types of magic that I now possess is siphon magic. Just... drains magic right out of magical objects! I haven't really had a chance to really try it yet. Is there... somewhere I can just obtain some items I can use for it? Any Amulets 'R Us? [He chuckles.] Also, what kinds of fiction are popular here? Like in terms of action-fantasy stuff, comic books, that kinda thing! They don't make Darkwing Duck shows or comics in this world, yet, so I'm thinking of finding some kind of series to follow! [And nerd out about.]

Wow, really? [That does take Drake by surprise! Because he doesn't remember meeting this guy ever. But he clicks the links and sure enough, one of the pictures actually is of him! Or of a certain doppleganger.] That - that sure looks like the guy alright. Awesome!

Huh. Well see, I'm more into the stuff about heroes who stop the giant monsters from destroying civilization. There is a market for giant monster things back home, I just don't know yet if there's much of it here in Camelot. I'm gonna have to do some research at the comic shop!

Opera could be interesting! I've thought about giving that a proper try sometime. [Both to watch, and to act in.] Not too big on heavy metal music though. It's fine and all, just not something I'm a big fan of.

The feeling's definitely mutual. As for magical items? There are a couple places around the city, but the best-quality ones are from the traders from Elphame; they stop by towards the end of the month. I'm not sure how safe it'd be to use their magic on them. The Red Springs also have training grounds if you need a sparring partner. I've got Elemental and Green magic.

You bet! Only the greatest hero to ever exist. He is a daring duck of mystery armed with only his own resolve and an arsenal of gadgets, who prowls the night constantly fends off the vile forces of villainy!
