So people have been talking about all our choices regarding how to deal with the fae. I think no matter what we decide we do also need to consider something else. We need to consider how disorganized we are if shit happens and whatever we choose fails.
Whether we like it or not, this place is our home for now. I think no matter what we do next, we need to get more organized about protecting this place if shit happens. For all we know even choosing a peaceful option could lead to the fae invading later on if we do something to piss them off. We can all hope otherwise, but I've always felt it better to be strong enough to deal with whatever happens.
Okay, so I suck at this whole speaking on the network thing, but just wanted to know if there would be interest in forming a defense focused militia and what sort of skills and experience we have to work with. That and if there is someone better than me at leading and training people. I'm a good fighter, but I know that no one besides me could learn to fight the way I did. I'm also better suited for figuring out the best way to stab the enemy.
[And then with that he'll go ahead and end the message.]

[And then there was the metaphorical sound of a computer fan whirring up to use all the RAM as Junko nearly dropped the phone- thank goodness the call didn't have video! She could already feel her cheeks going bright red.]
H-huh- I'm not- what-
[Cute? Her? Well...she was dressed as Junko, that was the only reason someone as ugly and plain-faced as her would be passable, right?
...But then he said that her being badass would be hot and-]
Me? Um- I-
[...please restart your Junko in safe mode.]

[...Don't mind her, Hawk, evidently trying to process being called hot broke her slightly, and she just blurted out all that without taking a breath.]
Um- what I mean is- well- I don't mind.
...But, I'm not that good looking. Um. Outside of my modelling work, anyway. That's all photoshopped though?
[0/10 for coherency! And probably also bright red.]

Anyway, it's your choice. Seems like you got the know how to be an asset but I ain't gonna force you. I'll just say you don't need to feel like you gotta be what you were back home. Back home I'm a wanted criminal. Here, I'm trying to figure out what I want to do still, but it sure ain't that.

[Nope, words were clearly failing her. But what he said next caught her attention. Not that she was overly phased with his history, given her own.]
A criminal huh...It's hard, knowing what to do in this world, isn't it? I'm still trying to figure that out, too.
Oh. By the way. You didn't give me your name before.
