So people have been talking about all our choices regarding how to deal with the fae. I think no matter what we decide we do also need to consider something else. We need to consider how disorganized we are if shit happens and whatever we choose fails.

Whether we like it or not, this place is our home for now. I think no matter what we do next, we need to get more organized about protecting this place if shit happens. For all we know even choosing a peaceful option could lead to the fae invading later on if we do something to piss them off. We can all hope otherwise, but I've always felt it better to be strong enough to deal with whatever happens.

Okay, so I suck at this whole speaking on the network thing, but just wanted to know if there would be interest in forming a defense focused militia and what sort of skills and experience we have to work with. That and if there is someone better than me at leading and training people. I'm a good fighter, but I know that no one besides me could learn to fight the way I did. I'm also better suited for figuring out the best way to stab the enemy.

It is my hope it will be a thing even if entirely voluntary. So what sort of weapons do you prefer using and what sort of experience do you have killing stuff?

well it shouldn't be required or anything. i'm no good at organising stuff so i guess it's just a thought!

i have been using knives since i was little! i only have a few of them though - i guess they fell out on the way here? i was a professional scrapper before i got signed up into ghoul investigation, so i have experience killing people AND monsters.
and i have my quinque here too! it's a biiiig scythe and i've used it for years. some of its stuff doesn't work for whatever reason but it's still sharp and can cut like it should. (´ヮ`)

Yeah, I noticed some stuff doesn't act like it should here too. I've got a few items from home that don't quite work the same. Do you use the knives for throwing at an opponent or stabbing up close?

[He's guessing throwing because throwing them is usually why one carries many but some also like using multiples in a way like claws.]

i wonder why that's a thing? i'm not really into the technical stuff like how my weapon works so i dunno why it doesn't activate properly, just that it doesn't. it's so weird...

oh! yeah i throw them! finishing someone off close range happens sometimes but i'm mostly a long range fighter. i'm kinda small so it works in my advantage that way.

Not a bad technique though. Speed tends to be an asset for those who are smaller. What kind of magic you got? I know I was able to find ways to use elemental and kinetic magic to act as throwing knives but other magics may have ways.
