What jobs might be available for a young man with experience in the restaurant business? I don't mean waiting tables, I mean running the business. Or, even better, what sorts of restaurants and eateries is this place lacking?

What sort of teahouse? There's a lot of different types of establishments that are all "teahouses".

Well, there's the ones with low tables and herbal teas and the ones with the overly decorated dining rooms and plethora of sweets.

The low tables and herbal teas are the ones I am familiar with. There are few things more relaxing than playing cards and sipping tea, but it would seem this world has yet to hear of that particular concept.
