[Okay, that's enough adjusting for the time being. Time is money, and Azul needs money.
And to start building a network.]
What jobs might be available for a young man with experience in the restaurant business? I don't mean waiting tables, I mean running the business. Or, even better, what sorts of restaurants and eateries is this place lacking?
[Could he have just wandered around and figured this out on his own? Sure, but this way he knows what people actually want and not just want's missing.]

Video : Un; Caster (lmk if you're not happy making the tdm canon and I'll alter it)
[Well hello potion-rival.]
...Nowhere does decent Georgian or Greek food, but I feel that's something no one except me is particularly concerned about.
works for me!!
You'll have to tell me what those foods are. My world doesn't have those countries or cultures.

You must be joking...?

I'm glad I've already had food before doing this tag!
Well, I tried to cook a few dishes myself a few weeks back, give me a moment and I'll show you.
[She's...trying to work out how to send a saved picture. And clearly doesn't have much of an idea what she's doing with the phone. Give her a moment. What could be seen of her face was definitely a look of concentration...!
...
There we go! She sends a picture of what looks like bread with a cheese and egg filling of sorts.]
I think that sent... that's Khachapuri, it's a traditional cheese filled bread- when it's freshly cooked you can tear the edges off and dip them in the cheese centre. It's delicious when it's freshly cooked.
[Then she sends a picture of what looked to be some dumplings.]
These are Khinkali, dumplings containing minced lamb or beef, and a few other herbs and spices- you can grind black pepper on the top or keep them plain like I did.
...I did pick up a couple of recipe books in town, if you're curious.
[It didn't strike her that it was probably a bad idea to go on about her homeland's traditional foods when she was trying to keep her identity quiet- but, well, if he had no idea what Georgia or Greece even were, she was fairly confident that her legend didn't exist where he was from.
Also she's chronically homesick please let her gush a bit.]
omg same
We don't have those cultures, but I've seen that first dish on Magicam and I think I've even had those dumplings...then again, almost every culture has dumplings I've learned.
Haha I'm glad I didn't just make you unfairly hungry
And yes dumplings are common across cultures, but they do vary a fair amount- I've tried gyoza and that was certainly different to what I'm accustomed to.

Oh...similar to these networks, then?
no subject
Yes. Though I don't think there's a way to post voice posts on Magicam, and I haven't seen any silly filters here.
no subject
Yes, of course...
But really I could go on about different dishes for a while. It sounds as if you're at least somewhat familiar with them, even if the cultures are different between our worlds.

...What was he, really?]
...Merfolk cuisine?

[Smartass.]

[That was a stab in the dark- especially given that he looked human- but hey, maybe he'd tip his hand.]
no subject
[It's not tipping his hand if he's not hiding anything, sorry not sorry Caster.]
no subject
...Interesting. I've encountered Sirens before, but this is different.

[The most pointless topic of conversation but...]

[She was willing to humour it at least?]
no subject
Ah well. That's humans for you.
no subject
...I suppose so.
Well, in any case, have you been getting many interesting restaurant ideas from this?
