What jobs might be available for a young man with experience in the restaurant business? I don't mean waiting tables, I mean running the business. Or, even better, what sorts of restaurants and eateries is this place lacking?

Why isn't pufferfish safe?

Raw fish. And a single pufferfish contains enough toxin to kill thirty adult men. It can be prepared so you can safely eat it, but I've never met someone dumb or brave enough to risk it, above or under the sea.

Goodness! I can understand being dangerous so as to not be eaten, but that seems overly so! Whyever would someone need to have that much poison?

Well, the pufferfish is so toxic because it keeps other fish from eating it, if the spikes don't do it. It just overcompensates.

Pufferfish must be VERY delicious then! After all, you would not need to be so dangerous if you tasted terrible. [That's logic.]

Goodness, I do wonder how many tries it took to realize you COULD eat it rather than how many it took to realize you couldn't.

Probably far too many, and it was probably a human who did it. Historically, they're the only ones stubborn enough.

I suppose that's true. My curiosity does get me into a good deal of trouble. I do try and give myself very good advice, though, I just very seldom follow it.
