Fourth: Myths and Legends, backdated to Valentine's Evening (Video; un: Caster)

[There were advantages and disadvantages to using the money she'd gotten from carrying out Morgana's suspicious request in order to find a larger place to stay. On one hand, she had more space to keep her things and it didn't feel so cramped - she might even have room for a potion-brewing workshop at some point. On the other hand, yes, she had more space to herself, but it was Valentine's Day.

And she was here by herself, without the one person she wanted to spend it with.

After spending a week or so chasing around a man from her world who was responsible for her demise.

Desperate for something to take her mind off all of it, she took to the network to try and find a distraction.

Caster can be seen sitting in a darkened room, face and body mostly hidden by the shadows of her cloak. You know, because that totally didn't look ominous.]

For those who haven't met me yet- I am known as Caster. A pleasure.

As the people who've been brought here are from many different worlds, I can't help but be a little curious. Tell me, what myths and legends are the most well known, where you're from? What about those you personally find the most interesting?

I'd say that the Greek Myths are my personal area of interest, but... picking a favourite would be difficult.

[A hint to who she was, perhaps, but it wasn't as if she'd actually told many people she was a heroic spirit from myth - so it should be a safe comment.]

Either way, feel free to share. I'm curious to know who's myths overlap with the ones I know, as well as learn a little about other people's worlds.

[There was a short pause, before a dark smirk comes into her face. She may have been just a little bitter about the whole cupid arrow nonsense.]

...Ah, and Archer? If you're watching this, I will make you regret humiliating me with those arrows of yours-!

I'm Eleven.

[The camera lowers enough to show one blue eye, then rises and shows a furrowed eyebrow.]

I just got here, wherever this is.

...I take it someone has explained the basics of this world to you, by now?

[luminatus]

Yeah...

[Long pause.]

....No.

M-maybe? I probably wasn't payin' attention.

[Just a long stare.]

...You're surprisingly unconcerned for someone who's been pulled from their world with no idea as to why.

[luminatus]

Oi! I'm concerned! I'm very concerned!

[A jerking motion as he stomps his boot.]

It's just...it's all a bit much.

I can only handle so much information at a time, innit.

Everyone keeps tellin' me stuff but all I can think about is my home which is...probably being taken over by monsters right now.

...It's also probably all on fire.

Mm. It probably is. Fire can spread quickly, you know.

[Wow, Caster, way to be a jerk to someone you just met.]

...Our worlds are apparently frozen in time, if what we've been told is to be believed.

[luminatus]

...I don't even know what was happening when I got here. I feel like I mighta been unconscious for a long time.

[He sighs.]

Last thing I remember the Yggdrasil was falling.

That's... a tree in Nordic Mythology, isn't it? I can't say it's an area I'm too familiar with.

[luminatus]

I dunno what "Nordic" means but She's a tree in Erdrea. She's the mother of all life. We all come from Her and when we die we go back to Her.

Or...

[With a note of heavy misery...]

We all used to, anyway.

What is Yggdrasil in the mythology of the uhm...

....I forget the word you said already.

I can't say I've heard of Erdrea, our worlds must be different, then.

...Nordic. From what I understand, it is a giant tree that exists at the centre of the universe, to connect the nine worlds together. But I'm not overly familiar with those myths.

[luminatus]

Ah... Center of the universe... I guess...

[Pause.]

Hang about, did you just say somethin' about different worlds? I knew this wasn't Erdrea, but...

...Yes. We're in a world called Avalon. Most of us who have been brought here hail from different worlds.

[This one really didn't to the guide, did he?]

[luminatus]

...Yeah, it's that last bit I never quite knew.

....Different worlds....

[He sniffs.]

What world are you from?

[colchismagecraft]

I was living in Japan before I was summoned here. It's a country on Earth.

[That wasn't where she was from, sure, but she didn't want to share that with a stranger.]

[luminatus]

Earth, huh?

...Somehow it feels like I've heard that name before. Are there other people around from there too?

[colchismagecraft]

Mm, there's a fair few of us- although I think some have come from alternate versions of Earth to myself.

Are there others from your world here?

[luminatus]

Yeah, a couple. That I know about...

[A pause.]

Which I guess is a little weird, huh? I mean, what are the odds?
